Product is good, I suppose, and shipment is perfect. I also learnt that the keying programming-process is complicated.

I was under the impression it came with the chip. It did not in order to get the right ones for my car their VIN SPECIFIC. HAD TO ORDER THE CORRECT ONES FROM THE VOLKSWAGEN DEALER.

I used one as a replacement shell and am getting the second programmed. Super easy to swap the boards and key over if that’s what you’re looking for. Fair warning popping the OEM key open to get that key and board isn’t super fun and it might break

Key fobs were reasonably priced but cost to make them work was over $300
