Why the speed can not reach 40Gbps?

Actual speed depends on type of laptop, NVMe SSD and USB port. If the system is latest and has Cache Protocol, the speed can reach 20Gbps when connect to Thunderbolt 3, otherwise it may reach only10Gbps.
