This bag secures well to my BMW. My partner in crime sits well inside (sometimes partly stands but, is secure and able to enjoy the ride); she weighs in at 27 lbs. I don't have to worry about her jumping out or leaning to far and falling. The only draw back is her sitting by the bike and whining because she wants to go for a ride (only because I take her and my chores don't get done). We have done about a 1000 miles together and it is holding up well. She tugs alot on the securing leads trying to catch the wind and I'm not worried about anything failing or her falling.
