I’ve been happy with the Ubiquiti NanoStation M5 wireless bridge. I used it to send network/internet from one location to another without having to trench or run a long cable, and it has worked well for that purpose. Setup does take a little bit of networking knowledge, so I would not say it is completely plug-and-play for everyone. You need to understand things like IP addresses, bridge mode, and aiming the units properly. Once it is configured, though, it is very dependable. The signal has been solid, and the connection is stable as long as the units have a clear line of sight. That is probably the biggest thing buyers need to understand. This is not something you just point through a bunch of trees or buildings and expect perfect results. If you have a clean shot between the two locations and mount them properly, it does a great job. I also like that it is outdoor-rated and made for this type of use. It feels more professional than trying to stretch Wi-Fi with cheap repeaters or consumer-grade extenders. For shops, barns, garages, gates, security cameras, or another building on the property, this is a very good solution. Overall, it works exactly like I hoped it would. It may take a little patience during setup, but once it is dialed in, it is a solid and reliable wireless bridge. I would buy it again.
