Blades are super sharp and last and last....
I am 80, been shaving a long time. This razor and absolutely the blades are the most superior product I have ever used.The blades just last and last. with a medium rough beard. Clean and dry blade between shaves for longer life.

Watch out with the blade on the back
It has a razor in the back, on the upper part. I wasn’t aware and while hitting it the get some hair out of the blades I got my finger cut.
