They have sorted out the duplicated Page 122-7 now - also, I love that it ain't got tablature
One of the reviews above said pages 122-7 were duplicated. They fixed it. The book I got today is just fine. I love that this book don't got tablature. I know Sir Paul McCartney does not read sheet music and that he got by just fine without it, but I personally find nothing beats music notation. I can't read it fast enough but I'm able to tackle all the songs in this book, which is just dandy for me. A professional musician will complain s/he can't play the Royal Albert Hall with this book. These are just the fairly basic melodies with words, and chords tabs above. This book is for intermediate players I'm guessing. If George Martin were to produce all these songs at Abbey Road on a mega album it would run to 9000 pages of manuscript? There's a brilliant selection of some of the best electric guitar songs known to man in this book. I highly recommend it to middling players who can read music. If you can't read music, then learn to - it will probably pay dividends in the future.

Good for beginners, nice choice of tunes
Got this for a friends son who is grade 2 and was pleasantly surprised by the book. Easy to read, very clear without being complicated and with a good choice of songs in there. May get one for myself!

Basic chord knowledge required beforehand
Purchased this book as I have a bad habit of flitting between online guitar tutorials without properly learning them fully so I have used this as a basis for a songbook to work through. It hasn't quite remedied my bad habit as the songs have mostly been arranged in alphabetical order (though 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' is filed under B?!) as opposed to level of difficulty as this would have helped create structure to learning whilst keeping it fun. I use this book as a companion with online guitar tutorials as I am visual learner but the book helps me to remember to play the chords in the right order. Also I found myself getting frustrated having to unlock the screen on my tablet every couple of minutes when I look this up online. N.B. Basic chord knowledge required first though if you haven't mastered the art of barre chords then you will need to make use of other variations I.e. power chords until you do

Easy to read and use!
I am a 'ROCK GOD' now! I can, at least, play some recognisable tunes on my guitar now - good starter book.

Nice music book, players need basic chord skills.
Nice guitar music book with good variety of songs, the book opens easier than most and therefore pages stay open better, although suggest many songs not really suitable foe beginner due to chord song structures shown.

Really nice and clear songbook for rock songs
I bought two books from this series the Acoustic songs and the Rock songs. The book itself is a good size with a very nice silky / satin cover. The print is very easy to read and very clear. At the beginning of each song the main song theme / guitar riff is shown for guitar in tablature. The songs are melody only with the full chord box shown above the melody and lyrics (not just the chord letter). NOTE: It might be a bit obvious but as the name says, these music books are for guitar so there is no 'piano left hand / bass clef' music score, ONLY melody, chords and lyrics. Which is fine for a guitarist, which is who the book is for. What I did like is the fact many of these 'many song' songbooks have a few good songs and the rest are less common and some unknown, however I have found with both of these songbooks that they contain a majority of really good well know rock songs. Only to me, the mix of the riff at the beginning being in tablature and the rest of the song being in music score seemed a bit weird. If you can read the music for the melody in music score then why do you need the tablature to show the riff, and visa versa if you need the tablature to play the riff then you probably won't be able to read the music. But, hey I can't complain as both are there., so I guess it keeps everyone happy. Anyway, the books stays open fine without breaking it's spine and with the nice material used for the cover, I guess it will take a lot of bashing and knocking on music stands. Very happy with the purchase, also the seller was super quick. Highly recommended music song book for guitarists.
