This Grey Hemway Sealant is my go-to for keeping things tight in the kitchen and bathroom. It's got this cool Anthracite Grey color and does the job as my bathroom wall is made of gray tiles, otherwise I prefer white sealant. – it's waterproof, fights off mould, and sticks fast without shrinking. You can use it on counters, tiles, bath, shower – you name it. But I used it to seal baththub edges. No weird smells, and you can paint over it. Whether you're fixing stuff up or just want a good sealant, this Hemway one does the trick on all kinds of surfaces around the house.

I ordered the anthracite. Really pleased to see that it was available in a dark grey colour. It suits my bathroom needs. While it is common with most of these tube sealants you do need a gun to use this, you can't just squeeze the tube. I used this to seal around my shower and window in a newly fitted bathroom. The plumbers left a few gaps. It worked well and was fairly easy to apply - there is a knack to using sealant.It appears to be waterproof, a big plus in a bathroom and so far it has resisted any mould growth, another plus for a bathroom setting. Overall - a useful product for sealing gaps and bonding surfaces together.

This sealant didn't ooze/explode out when opening or when it laid between applications, unlike every other sealant I have encountered. It comes with a handy lid to close it when finished. It went on easily enough, and bonded well. The sealant requires a temperature of 73 degrees and 24 hours to dry so we had to turn up the heater for a day. It does require a caulk gun for application, which wasn't mentioned, but wasn't surprising.

Best suited for situations that might be problematic for regular caulk.The cost is high, but the performance claims are equally high.The product is easy to apply and low odor, it work easily and the black color is compatable with many modern decor .The onyl way to know if the performance claims are valid is to use the product and see how it handles real world situations

This was (and is ) a great solution for those tub splash guards that came with factory supplied tape. You can see what I mean if you follow my previous review on such items, I got because of shower water splash out the corner. My shower head has a stainless steel flexible hose end. If I accidentally lay it in the tub or drop it there, the show head just may(and have) aimed outside the tub. Sometimes my shower curtains aren't always fully closed is why. My splash guards were only attached by double-sided tape. Now I have this to fix the problem of those splash guards now coming loose. Will also be using this to seal the bottom edge of tile to tub.

I needed to seal my tub to stop possible water leakage to the sub-floor. I liked that the sealant had a screw on top and lid to prevent the rest from drying up and being wasted. The sealant went on easily with a caulking gun, similar to regular silicone. I did paint the caulking to match the tub so knowing that it was paintable is a plus. After about 24 hours it felt quite dry, but I waited 48 hours before I applied a coat of paint. We will see how long the sealant lasts, but for now it works great for my application.
