Early maturing, bush-type squash with delicious smooth, deep green fruits. Produces over an extended season. Baked, boiled, fried, steamed, grilled, pickled--raw or frozen, zucchini is a real summer treat! Plant in full sun in rich soil for best growth. Start outside about two weeks after last frost or indoors about three weeks before last frost for transplants. Squash germinates poorly in soil below 70 degrees F. Do not disturb roots while transplanting. Feed monthly with side dressing of compost or vegetable food for best growth.
