I don't think these can be called heavy duty. They are pretty thin. I got them to protect against my cats but it's just thinking plastic

The dresses did not pool in the bottom, you need to accommodate for the dress length from the hanger, not just the dress itself. Love the window so you can see which garments are in the bag. Excellent price point for the quality of the bags. Durable and protective, but not cumbersome. The material is smooth and will not catch your gowns; zipper rolls smoothly

These are extra long for what I needed. The only thing that would make it perfect is a small pocket to hold small items
