Very high quality and inexpensive
Bought these for my new Baofeng DMR V/U radio and they work great and fit the radio perfectly.

These beat every factory rubber duck antenna hands down.
I have several HTs and most take the female SMA threaded connector. It seems factory rubber duck antennas die young, these out of the box work better than any factory antenna no doubt... So they are replacements, but way better. They test out well with VNA and SWR/Watt meter checks. SWR was quite good compared to all my old rubber ducks. And yeah, old I have. One of my antennas is at least 30 years old. It is no longer king of the hill. This replacement is. Range is very good and dollar for dollar, there is more bang for your buck with these!

Junk to destroy a radio.
Dont waste your money.. these are junk. SWRs are high, well over 2.5. and does'nt receive well at all.

I bought two. Then I bought six more. They work.
I wanted a duck that was a bit shorter than most for convenience without sacrificing too much performance. I now have 8 of these bad boys. Performance exceeds OEM Baofeng antennas, and seems on equal par with my Nagoya 701s. Signal reports and reception quality meet or exceed expectations. Great value.

Good value for what artificial intelligence says are decent Antennas they compare with name brand
To be honest I'm just getting into ham radios, I spent a lot of time on Google trying to figure out the best value versus the best quality and these are the antennas I came up with, I have no way to test them but hopefully some of you will have a way, they look good they feel good They screw onto my radio and I'm happy the value is there as long as these radios perform with these antennas on them As I learn more about my radios I will come back and update this review.

Good and tennis
Thought I saw in the description that they were 8 inch Antennas and 6 inch ones came, but they work well. They seem well-made.

Not as good as the original handheld antennas, but are workable
Compared to the original rubber duckies that came with my Yeasu FT65, and my UV-K5, this antenna has higher swr on both the ham vhf and uhf bands. It also has slightly less sensitivity than the stock antennas. This might be to its somewhat shorter whip. However, compared to other similar antennas i've purchased on amazon, and returned, these Eightwoods i recieved appear acceptable. My vna shows swr dips around 144.8 for vhf, and 481.5 on uhf; not perfect but definetly better than some of the other crap i tested. The first photo shows the original yeasu FT65 antenna, the second is the Eightwood. Not as good, but trust me way better than some other stuff out there.
