Contact Fire Staff with Kevlar Wicks - Collapsible Design - T6 Aluminum Tubing - Optimal Weight Distribution - SuperGrip Handle

This item arrived 1-2 weeks earlier than expected!!! (So happy about this since I had an immediate opportunity to test it out the day it arrived!) 🤩 Assembly was a bit tricky as the plastic pin pieces are tough to pry up... but that's good for safety while spinning! Once the ends are in place & holes aligned, the little black pieces snap back easily. (More adjustable than I thought due to another review on here.) Super lightweight staff with a fantastic grip makes this a great starter staff + excellent handling for more advanced tricks (maybe not for contact rolls though)! There are tiny round plastic plugs on the 2 ends that got stuck in the main center piece upon 1st use but I don't think that will affect the operation. Wicking is well done with a solid wooden dow in the middle to prevent backdraft in the hollow core, so over time will see how long that lasts!

This particular fire staff claims to be adjustable between I believe it 43" and 59" however, the only way to adjust it is to fully remove one side or the other. Aside from that the overall length is essentially fixed. Yes you can lossen and move the pieces. But with as minimally as they insert as it is, the length is essentially fixed. It should also be noted that the holes on the exterior pieces are of legitimately zero functional purpose and are likely just there to make you feel as though it's far more adjustable. That being said, it does feel relatively well built otherwise and has beautiful weight distribution. And I'm excited to try it out tonight! I Just wanted future buyers to be aware it's not truly adjustable as it was something I had originally thought would be neat when purchasing.

It's excellent; I'm just starting in this discipline and I find it super practical that it can be folded. It has good safety locks to prevent anything from coming loose! I loved it. I'd like to buy a smaller one now to try new things!

First impression: it feels kinda flimsy for the price point. By this, I mean I am almost afraid of accidentally hitting some place with it, like, it looks like it would be easily bent. I will try it further and update this comment hopefully with good news.
