So much moisture!
I have Locs and at first I must say I was concerned about adding products to my hair because I don’t use products like gels or beeswax in my hair. I usually just use a light oil for my scalp. I’ve had my Locs for 20 years so they are pretty long. I noticed the ends were looking dry. I came across this product. I first saw it in an ad. It claimed to help lock in moisture. I was skeptical at first. After a thorough wash, I applied it to my wet hair. It felt sticky because of the honey. The smell was decent. Not overpowering. I dried my hair under a sit under dryer. The results were great. My hair was noticeably darker. The Locs look and feel healthier. And no build up! I will recommend this to anyone who wants to give their hair a boost without weighing it down with extra oils.

Tip on getting best results
First time purchasing this product. I’m extremely impressed. For context, I’m a low porosity, high density, 4C girlie. Off first impressions, the product is thick and sticky (like honey, lol!) The stickiness threw me off a little but I got over it pretty quickly. I’ve tried this on partially dry hair and also only my wash days. And let me tell you - USE IT ON YOUR WASH DAYS. This leave in is not a traditional water based leave in. Water is actually a few ingredients down on the list. Honey is the main one, honey is a humectant so it draws moisture from the air into your hair (if you live in a humid state, then that’s perfect.) Don’t treat this as a regular leave in that’s water based. Please saturate your hair with water before applying. When I did this on my wash day, I deep conditioned then applied the Honey Hydrate Leave In and Blue Magic hair grease as my sealant. All I can say is….chefs kiss. This extended my hydration days to 5 days and my hair is insanely soft. So the people saying it made their hair hard and stiff - it may be user error. Try on your wash days and use a strong sealant on top. will be purchasing again!

Good for 4c hair or any type 4 ethnic hair!
Very good product I was skeptical about it at first. I have African American 4b/4c hair and it moisturized my hair well. It didn’t mixed well with mielle hair milk.. it flaked up... but that could be to my eco gel.. but after it dries it felt sooooo soft i couldn’t believe it. I also did a sleek low bun and it made my hair not as hard with the eco gel. U have to get this. I haven’t tried it with a braid or twist out but yet but I’m sure it will give me awesome results. It is a big pricey but worth it.. the jar is quite small but a little goes a long way. I think I will make this my go to winter leave on in since that’s the season I’ll need it the most. And that way I get my money’s worth. Definitely a staple. Please don’t change the formula. And if u have natural hair u need to get this especially type 4 hair. Oh, I forgot to mention is is a bit sticky. Like the Shea moisturize curling soufflé.. ( that was a staple until they changed the formula) if u ever tried that’s then that is how this product is . And u should use it on wet hair only!! And use a little at a time.. the stickiness does go away after some time. As I mentioned before when I did my low sleek bun I only use olive oil eco gel and this honey and my hair wasn’t dry and in fact it was moisturized and I did this for 4 days in a row... it also gave me a nice waved pattern and enhanced my curls... I had 360 waves. Get this in your life! Sry for being all over.. I usually don’t do reviews but wanted to since there were very few specific reviews out there especially for type for hair.

Love it!
Love it. My holy grail moisturizer, leaves my hair shiny as ever and keeps curls alive. The only downside is the texture, but what are gloves for?

It's pretty good...
I have combination of 3c/4a hair texture with medium porosity. I wear my hair natural like a wash n go and often have a hard time finding something that will add shine, moisture while keeping the hair soft. I've tried many products including Eco Style Gel which made my hair a bit hard, stiff, with many single knots... Although this item 1st ingredient is Honey, I was hesitant but I decided to give this a go. About the product: It is thick, a bit sticky and subtle sweet smell kinda like carmel and maple. I've applied to dry hair and wet hair. I found it best to apply while hair is still wet after being washed. I didn't have to use as much compared to dry hair. My hair had shine, moisture (not greasy) and it was soft. Hair didnt fell sticky neither. My hair still stayed soft even while washing it out. So far this is the best thing I've tried yet. Like a reviewer said, a little goes a long way. Only down side is that with me wearing my hair natural, I have a LOT of shrinkage. My hair is at the middle of my shoulder blades when straight but when natural, my hair curls up to my ear lobes. Guess that can't be fixed...

Worked well but not for every type of hair a little sticky
Worked well but it left my 3C/4A hair a little sticky not necessarily hydrated. On the one hand it was better than getting a lot of creamy buildup from using a product that was cream based; but on the other hand, the stickiness left me trying to comb through (whether it’s finger combing or with a wide tooth comb) tangled and cross sections of hair if that makes sense to you. What I mean is there would be a hair going this way another one going that way and you’re trying to come through it so obviously, with the hairs doing that you lose quite a bit. Just recently switched to Bask & Lather. Been using it three weeks so far so good I love their products. Camille’s products may work for another type of hair or for another person it could be me. I do like her company and some of the concepts!
