Libbey 917CD Heavy Base Rocks Glasses Set of 12, 11 oz

I wasn’t sure if I’d like these at first since I was really seeking something with a super clean silhouette and a heavy base. These ended up striking the perfect balance between the two—solid in hand, simple in design—without overextending my budget. They’ve grown on me quickly, and now I look forward to reaching for them daily. The weight feels premium, the lines are modern, and they look intentional both on the counter and stacked in the cabinet. They handle cocktails, water, and anything in between without feeling flimsy or oversized. Great set of rocks glasses that have been exactly what I needed. The heavy base feels solid and substantial in hand. Simple design looks clean and works well for whiskey or cocktails. They've held up well and matched the description perfectly. Happy with the purchase and would recommend.

Glasses are far sturdier than other inexpensive glasses. They have a nice heavy bottom and won't tip over. The heavier bottom lets you be a little more carefree about handling and these a slightly thicker quality of glass that makes these a whole lot harder to break. The quality is wonderful, and the look is very nice. These glasses are probably not the best for kids since they are glass, but they great for adults.

Good appearance and quality .

Glasses are very good quality and worth the price. However, they are advertised as 11oz capacity but in reality,only hold 8 ozs. Probably going to send them back.

We Iiked these glasses. They are so durable and we didn't break any yet which is great.

These glasses are Phenomenal. I was looking for new glass ware when I was having my entire kitchen remodeled, came across this product and realized the size and durability of it would work for what I was needing. They are long lasting, came undamaged with no cracks or breaks and have a nice weight to them. I use them daily for a variety of beverages from water, to iced tea, to soda, juice ,milk and to making a smaller size margarita and mixed drinks. Owing these glasses I feel at times that I have a bar opened at my house and neighbors and family have commented on them

I ordered and returned several other brands (because the quality was terrible), before landing at these. These were the most affordable and the best quality! And I really inspect every detail. The “thickness” of the bottom part of the glass was important to me. I wanted rocks glasses that had a thicker bottom because I had ordered some other brands where the bottom was thinner and they had a cheaper look to them.. Other brands had a lot of rippling in the glass but the quality of these glasses were great. One of the glasses had a tiny flaw in the glass, but you wouldn’t notice unless you’re reallyyyy inspecting it, under the right lighting. I used all 12 to fulfill an order for a customer. I will DEFINITELY keep ordering these for my small business!

We had an older set of these glasses and over the years, several had been broken. No other manufacturer makes an exact match, so we had to order the Libbey 918CD model -- really nice glasses, but very expensive -- probably 3 or 4 times what we paid for our older set.

These glasses are very sturdy and have a nice feel and weight to them.

These glasses actually hold only 10 oz, when filled to the brim. The description says Libbey's 11 oz.

we are down to 2 glasses out of the dozen in a few months. I know they are made of "glass" but we have other sets, including wine glasses, that have survived years of clinking in the dishwasher and bumps in the sink. These glasses have a thin rim and almost every one that broke has the same shape piece come off. Many broke just going through a dishwasher cycle.
