Moving into a new apartment, I was looking for an L-shaped desk that would fit into my breakfast nook that I wanted to turn into a workspace. I was agonizing between this model and "Ameriwood Home Dakota L-Shaped Desk with Bookshelves," but I ultimately chose this one because I could get two day shipping on it and wanted to set up right away. After a week of use, I think I definitely made the correct decision!First of all, the weight. This only weights about 40lbs compared to nearly 80lbs for the Ameriwood. It's easy for a single person to carry around, and won't be a pain to move it when I change apartments in a year or two.Second, the assembly. This thing is a breeze to put together and took maybe 30-45 minutes at the most. Instructions are clear and easy to follow, didn't make a single mistake while setting it up. The only problem I noticed is that one piece of the metal frame has a small dent in it. However, it's only noticeable if you're looking for it, and none of the protective coating was chipped off so I didn't bother with returning it since it was so minor.Finally the looks. It looks great! The wood top looks surprising good for particle board, and it feels durable and sturdy. There's also plenty of space for my laptop, monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Plus, that only takes up one side of the desk! The other side is clean and ready to use for reading, paperwork, etc. This would have been a great desk to have while I was in graduate school.If you're looking for an affordable desk under $100, this is the one to get.

Simply an amazing desk. I've had this desk for a few days now and I feel confident to make a review (I am 6'4" tall and 250 pounds so keep that in mind for the size and stability). I primarily purchased this desk to allow for my dual monitor setup and still have room to do pen and paperwork.It's an L-shaped desk...Need I say more. But I will, if you don't already have a dual monitor setup at home, you should (Best investment you can make). Once you get your dual monitor setup you will realize your desk is too small and you have two options: buy another desk and use two or get an L-shaped desk. I really did not like my old desk so I decided to get this desk.Pros:-Plenty of room to fit monitors and paperwork-Sturdy construction allows for the desk to not move significantly during regular operation. (If you shake the desk it will shake) Even though I'm pretty heavy I still have no issue with the stability of the desk.-Aesthetically this desk is just beautiful. It has a splendid shiny black look to it that reminds me of obsidian!-Assembly was a delight. You didn't need to put screws into little holes that never seem to fit. If a screw went somewhere there was a metal female hole that was actually meant to accommodate the screw! Very simple instructions and all tools needed were included.cons:-I wouldn't mind the desk being 2-3 inches wider but I am still able to fit everything I need to on it.-The actual desk is tempered glass which will obviously require more cleaning than a wood desk (because it is shiny)

This desk arrived on time and was relatively easy to assemble. I have it set up in the corner of my spare bedroom, and it fits the area nicely. I was able to place my computer on the middle section of the desk, which works beautifully for my needs. This desk does not have a slide-out keyboard tray, which I don’t mind. You won’t miss the slide-out keyboard tray at all if you’re using this desk with a laptop, anyway. I am using it with a desktop, but I prefer to have the keyboard up higher anyway, so that my wrists aren’t bent at awkward angles.There was a warning label on the middle section of the desk which states that the device isn’t meant to hold more than 25 pounds. I am not sure if the sticker meant just the middle section of the desk, or the entire thing, but my most reasonable guess would be the entire thing. The 25 pound limitation is of no consequence to me; the desk holds my computer monitor, a desk organizer with many pens, etc., file dividers, and a laminator, and some other miscellaneous office supplies, just fine. It can be slightly shaky if I accidently roll into the side of the desk with my office chair, if I type too vigorously, there can be slight vibration. The desk isn’t solid oak, it’s a metal frame with a tempered glass top.I don’t think that I would place a printer on this desk, however, unless you can be certain that it won’t exceed the weight limitations.One thing I noted is that there are no suction cups to secure the tempered glass in the middle section of the desk. Both of the sides have the suction cups to secure the tempered glass, but for whatever reason, the corner middle section does not. The glass does fit somewhat securely; however, when we tilted the desk on its side to move it into its permanent location, the corner section of glass did tumble out of the desk and land on my laminate flooring. I am very relieved that it did not break.I am rather pleased with this desk. Suits my needs fine, quite an upgrade from my old desk. Would recommend to anyone who needs a reasonably priced desk to fit in a relatively small area, for less than 25 pounds of items.Regarding the label on the glass in the center section, I was able to peel the label off relatively easily, from one corner. Some of the label did remain once I peeled the majority of it off, but I just used an alcohol pad to finish breaking down the adhesive and cleaning the gunk off the area.I hope this review was useful to anyone considering this desk. Very functional. Love the shape. Looks great. I am really happy with the purchase. I set up an office in the corner of my bedroom and it fits perfectly. Looks very nice.

It a very good L-shaped desk. Its not the absolute sturdy desk, but its strong somewhat. Color is fairly good. It is very easy to assemble and easy to move around. Considering the price, its a very good buy.

Sturdy even on carpet, but if you lean to hard on the center section it slightly leans towards you, probably just because it's on carpet. Looks great, easy to assemble, great price. Highly recommend!

Arrived on time and was very easy to put together. I'm all thumbs when it comes to assembly but I put it together in 30 minutes. Fits in my space perfectly and looks great. No missing pieces!

Right off the bat, it's really cheap hence the price I paid. There were 2 cracks on the down sides of the desk which is no big deal since you don't see them fom the top. It was wobbly. Could not put my entire Pc setup on it you just have enough room for a small monitor a keyboard and a mouse and that's about it
