The first time I ordered it, it went missing, and the seller refunded me promptly. The second order arrived in good order, although the packaging could have been better—no harm done, however. The distance between the vertical bolt holes (10.2") was slightly longer than what I needed for my chair, but after some adjustments with a chisel, I was able to fit it. It is a truly heavy-duty unit, and I might buy a second one as a reserve.

Bought this Besitu 500lb Office Chair Replacement Base after attempting to replace the cylinder on my old chair. Apparently office chair cylinders are permanently fused together by dark magic, because even after introducing a sledgehammer into the negotiations, the cylinder still refused to come out. What did give up was the old chair base. So I ordered this one, swapped everything over, and honestly the replacement was pretty easy. As for durability, I’m a big guy, and I’ve been sitting in it without suddenly experiencing gravity at high speed, so I’d call that a success. The only issue I have is with the new cylinder I bought separately. The height adjustment handle thingy doesn’t actually work now. But that’s not the fault of this base. At this point my chair has simply chosen a height and committed to it emotionally. Overall, solid replacement. No complaints with the base itself.

I can have some peace of mind that this will never break on me. This is very heavy dude and worth every penny. Rare to find this level of quality these days. I bought a similar part on Amazon rated for 500 pounds and I was so cheaply made and thin. I returned it.

Ordered it to replace the one that broke on my chair. This one is 3x heavier and 2x the thickness. Fits perfectly, my chair has NEVER been this solid and quiet, not a single noise when I sit or move.
