I got this bag for my daughter's electronic chessboard (not the Chessnut brand) without realizing how big it would be. It's remarkably large, which will be great to fit any chessboard she wants as she gets more into playing. It's also extremely well made with fantastic construction and materials. It's light and easy to carry using a removable shoulder strap or handles (joined by Velcroed padding). A generous front pocket can be used for accessories or in our case, my daughter's current chessboard as it's too small for the larger interior space. Fortunately, the front pocket has the same thick padding as the main part of the bag, so the board is fully protected no matter where we put it. This is truly a great bag. It will provide years of use for my daughter and will easily grow with her and her skill.

There are better options available. This bag does not have a great way to store a chess clock. Just a giant pocket for the board and another giant pocket for everything else. The House of Staunton Deluxe Chessboard Carrier is made of heavier material, has a pocket right sized for the clock overall looks and feels like a much higher quality bag (though it does not come with a shoulder strap).

I purchased this case for my ChessNut Pro chessboard, as I couldn’t easily find another option that would fit properly. Since this bag is made specifically for the board, it fits perfectly, as expected. However, the quality of the bag is just average — I would have expected much better materials and construction given the high price. While it serves its purpose, it feels overpriced for what you get. Unfortunately, it was the only option available, so I didn’t have much choice.

I am repurposing this Chessnut Pro carry bag to carry a custom 21" solid wood chess board. The Chessnut Pro bag will also comfortably hold a DGT tournament board. This Chessnut Pro bag WILL NOT fit a 2.25 square Drueke board. It is 1 inch too small. Don't even try. Well padded all around. The handle is wide and also padded. There is an optional padded shoulder strap included inside the bag. There are two metal D-Rings to attach the shoulder strap to. I attach a luggage tag with my contact information to the D-Ring just in case. Overall it's very well made. Chessnut did not cheap out on quality. Large board bags like this are not cheap. You get your money's worth with this one. The large front zippered pocket is not pleated so you can only carry thin items in it like a scorebook or manual.

My 21 inch chessboard slipped into this bag and it fits like a glove. Sooo, really happy about that. The front pocket though, not so happy. It’s too flat. Yeah, the chess pieces can fit in there but it’s not a happy situation. There’s something that can be done, like make the front pocket baggier and maybe add some inner pockets for holding the chess pieces in a somewhat dispersed way. Also, whatever they used for insulation is kinda loud and sounds like paper. I don’t mean to complain about this bag because It’s so nice to have that chess board protected and portable at the same time. It’s a nice bag.

I have always wanted to say I am an avid chess player. To have people admire me, knowing I must be intelligent to play such a challenging game. But I'm not. So I bought a chess board in order to learn, and this indestructible case is just what I needed to complete my ensemble. It looks sharp, is feather light, and washes easily.

Chessnut has produced a good carrying and protective bag. This is designed for Chessnut boards, but it does not have to be limited to that. This bag is spacious. My largest chessboard (19 x 19) fits very well and can now be transported with some protection. But this bag is made to fit boards up to 21 inches or 55 cm. The sides of the bag are well padded. The pockets are secured by zippers though I am not sure how durable the zippers are. There are also shoulder straps which can be used if you like. There is plenty of space for many things you may want to take in this bag. This usefulness has a good and a bad side. The good is you have enough room for chessmen, chess clock (not too large), notebook, etc. The bad news is that this is so useful it can be reallocated by the significant other. Therein is my lot. My reasons for getting something are overruled by the one who repurposes. All new purposes are obviously vital while my original use is minor. This is a good bag. There is a problem with the product description of this bag though. It reads, “Multiple zippered pockets and velcro pocket for storing your chess equipment.” That Velcro pocket is well hidden. The main compartment is obvious. It has a zipper. There is one side pocket also with a zipper. Both are spacious. I cannot find anything else. While I can appreciate secret pockets, I have my doubts the Velcro pocket exists. It also says there is “An elasticated velcro strap which effectively holds it in place and stops it from moving/sliding.” I have not discovered that strap either. It is possible that these are descriptions of another Chessnut bag that made it onto this product page. It is also possible that I am blind to these things. But let it be known, I got additional help but we found nothing.

It's a great bag for my expensive chess board yes it's pricey but you only need to buy it once in life.,..

Die Angabe zu der maximalen Größe eines Brettes passt so gerade eben und ist letztlich auch angesichts des hohen Preises (dafür ist die Ausstattung der Tasche nicht adäquat) unbefriedigend. Daher auch ganz schnell wieder retour! Nicht empfehlenswert!
