I've wanted this kettle for a while, but couldn't bring myself to spend the money, however, I finally took the plunge to my husband's dismay, and I'm so glad I did! This really is a beautiful kettle, and a great addition to our kitchen. The handle is very stylish and soft, which adds a nice touch. It's quiet compared to most kettles and boils very fast. It's also larger than it looks in the pictures which is a bonus. We paid £49, which to me is hefty for a kettle, but it's worth the money in my opinion (not my husband's haha). I'll update this review in due course to comment on its durability. We only use distilled water in our house, so I'm hoping this also helps with longevity as scale isn't a problem. If you use tap water or bottled water, a weekly clean with food grade citric acid will do the trick to keep it sparkling. If you've been looking at this kettle for a while like me ..... just buy it! You won't be disappointed.

This is the best kettle I have ever owned. Already purchased one and wanted another to store away for the future, and also one for my sister when she moves into her new home. Great quality and looks stunning. Everyone admires it. Great insside as has red guides for making 1-3 cups for exact measurement. Fast boil and not noisy.

Its a beautiful kettle to have in one's kitchen! I am very happy with its cup markings for 1,2,and 3 that allows to boil the correct amount of water without wasting energy. I also like the fact that the lid comes off so that I can clean inside the kettle without any barriers.

Not up to quality for a Emma Bridgwater product. Far to much plastic inside the kettle, the kettle I had delivered absalutely stunk of cheap plastic. A kettle at this price should contain all stainless steel fitments instead of cheap plastic parts inside. I'm actually gutted as it looks beautiful until you actually handle iymt and realise the lid is not of great quality very light and flimsy. The base should not be made so light and plastic either. Highly disappointed. I have now sorced and all stainless steel electric kettle. They are out there. This much plastic inside a kettle in boiling hot water is not healthy long term.

been wanting this kettle for literaly years but always way out of my price range, now my kettle broke down i was looking for a replacement, found this beauty REDUCED BY £20 well that was too good to pass up, although it was still a bit high priced for me i just couldnt pass it up, now its pride of plce in my kitchen, its also very light weight , perfect for me as ihave arthritis in my hands and wrists so light weight is important. i love it quick boil one cup of water if needed, so glad i had the chance to get this reduced.
