Easy to Explore Glacier with this book
If you are looking for a good layout regarding Glacier Park, this is the one. It covers the different areas and what is available for eating, lodging, gas, etc. and some hikes. It has a section on just hikes. Knowing that the cell coverage is not good, I will definitely use the section on Going to The Sun Road attractions/pull-outs. Good maps too.The only real outdated info is you don't need a reservation for the GTTSR as of 2026. Also, they just added time limits for parking at Logan Pass. The shuttles to Logan need to be scheduled.

There is much to know about planning a visit to Glacier National. There is a great deal of detail and even deadlines to secure certain reservations for activities. Now is the time to see Glacier National Park as it is changing. There are only a dozen or so glaciers left. The book will help you not miss the things you most want to do.

I got this book to help plan for a trip to glacier. It is very detailed, organized and easy to follow. A lot of helpful tips all in one spot! Would recommend if you are planning a trip and don’t know where to start. The author is very knowledgeable about the park.

I purchased 5 paperbacks in preparing for my trip to Glacier National Park. Becky Lomax best covers the overall planning by far. From how to get there, planning a short or long trip, best sights, hikes, lodging, camping, tours and so forth. All in one paperback.

This small book is written extremely wet. Fantastic information great pictures pertinent information to make decisions upon. I am really impressed with this little book. Highly recommend.
