Simply put, these are still the best-in-class for job pens. Pentel recently ruined their Hybrid Technicas with a design flaw through the intention of no longer allowing their job pens to be refillable. Ironically, that redesign ruined the pen in multiple ways of actual performance (skipping, difficult flow) while retaining their premium price on it.However, Pilot retains their classic design and execution for the Tec-C series: The outcome is superb as always. The ink starts flowing as soon as the tip reaches paper with every stroke and maintains a consistent flow throughout. No skipping. You can make the line as fine as you wish with a curve or put down the full 0.4 thickness. Gravity is low, the grip is slender and comfortable, and, best of all, the gel container is replaceable with refills (if you're able to find them, the Coleto refills won't work here because they're designed for a multipen with a different shape).Pick this. You won't be disappointed.

If one is in need of a tiny writing tip, then this pen may be for you. The tip is an ultra fine 0.4 mm and will write tiny enough to fit in spaces other sized tips would break the bounds. It is also very useful in artwork, and drafting when ultra fine lines are needed.

I've tried a lot of pens, and these are my favorite! They write smoothly and have a really nice fine line. Ink is black and dries fast. I got a pack for my brother-in-law, who is a lawyer and very particular about pens.

I've been using the Pilot Hi-Tec-C 04 Gel Ink Pen for quite some time now and I have to say I'm very impressed with it. The pen is incredibly lightweight, making it very easy to write with for extended periods of time without experiencing any hand fatigue. The .4mm ballpoint tip provides a smooth and precise writing experience, which is perfect for taking notes or writing in small spaces. The black ink is rich and vibrant, making it very easy to read what I have written.The only downside to this pen is that if you happen to drop it without the cap on, the ballpoint tip is so thin that it will most likely break instantly. However, as long as you are careful with the pen and take care to put the cap on when not in use, this should not be a problem. Overall, I highly recommend this pen to anyone in the market for a reliable and high-quality writing tool.

Great deal for the pack of 5. Love how satisfying the ink flows and dries pretty quickly if you're only using it for writing. I use these for work and write data everyday so they last a long time. However, sometimes the pen doesn't mark the right way if the pen is left open for a period of time.

They are very fine which I love. I use in my watercolor paintings and they have worked well. I keep the lids on and so far they have remained in working order.
