20mm Super Boyer Watch Band for Seiko Alpinist SARB017 SBDC087 SBDC091

Very nice bracelet, fits perfectly to my Seiko Alpinist.

I wasn’t that impressed when I first took this out of the packaging, but once fitted to my Seiko SPB115 “Baby” Alpinist it actually turned out to be a decent strap. Pros • Fits the watch perfectly • Much more comfortable than the original Seiko strap • Clasp with micro-adjustments makes it easy to get a precise fit and is very secure. Cons • The colour is slightly different from the watch case. It’s subtle, but noticeable if you’re picky about matching • Links are a little loose • Brushed finish rather than polished, so it doesn’t match the case as well as I’d hoped Overall A good, comfortable strap that fits well and improves wearability, but don’t expect a perfect colour or finish match to the SPB115.

I brought this bracelet to fit on my Seiko Alpinist SPB355J1 which it does perfectly ! I also own the baby Alpinist SPB155J1 which comes with a factory fitted Seiko bracelet, so comparing the two bracelets there is virtually nothing in it apart from the price. I own a couple of Strapcode bracelets on other watches in my collection (mainly dive watches) and they all fit really well and this bracelet is no exception. If this bracelet does have a draw back it's the clasp, in my opinion it's too long and out of proportion for the size of the watch, you really don't need six micro adjust holes, that's almost two full links worth ! I swapped the clasp on mine for a three hole Strapcode clasp which I took from one of my Turtle dive watches and put the six hole on that. Just a word of Caution most Strapcode bracelets use solid links with screw in pins so I would advise checking the tightness of the pins from time to time just to be on the safe side. Alternatively once you are entirely happy with the fit of the bracelet a tiny amount of thread lock on the threads of the screw pins will also work well and stop them from unscrewing and you loosing your watch ! Overall I think Strapcode make some of the best after market straps you can buy and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Hope this review helps.

Very nicely made but the clasp doesn’t close that well and is a bit chunky. But a lot better than the bracelets that come with many watches costing hundreds of pounds

Preso per il mio Seiko Alpinist SPB157J1. I finali pieni calzano alla perfezione nelle anse senza lasciare alcun gap. La clasp è di ottima fattura con ben 6 forellini per la micro-regolazione che garantiscono una vestibilità ottimale e una veloce modifica della lunghezza al variare della temperatura e delle stagioni. Le maglie, finemente spazzolate in superficie e lucide sui bordi, sono ovviamente in acciaio pieno e giuntate con perni a vite. Insomma, tanta roba. E si fa pagare.
