I love a good skincare product, and since this one has been a staple in my routine, I feel like I should finally tell you all why I love it so much. 1. It’s perfect for my sensitive skin. It’s a gentle exfoliant that can be used daily, and I personally use it at night. 2. It soothes upcoming pimples. These pads double as mini sheet masks, and whenever I feel a pimple forming, I leave one on the targeted area. I have no idea why I didn’t do this from the start (I’ve been using this product for over two years), but I always wake up to smaller, calmer pimples the next morning. 3. The pads have two textures. One side is soft, and the other is coarse for exfoliating specific areas. I love giving my nose a good, effective scrub every now and then. 4. The formula is lightweight. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed without any stickiness, and it doesn’t dry out my skin at all. There are so many products in this category, but I’ve been a loyal fan for a long time, and I can’t imagine switching to anything else given how well this works for me. I like to think of myself as someone who appreciates good skincare, though I’m by no means an expert. With so many products out there, it’s easy to fall down a rabbit hole, but this one does exactly what it promises—and it keeps me coming back.

Good product. I find that it does have a calming effect but its very mild. It does not peel though unless you use it with a glycolic acid toner. The smell is fine and you get a great value for money with the 2 containers having 30 pads each? I think I'm just about halfway through my first one and i dont use it daily but maybe every three or so days at most.

These heartleaf BHA pads are with only 0.5% betaine salicylate which is supposed to be gentler on the skin. I'm starting to incorporate chemical exfoliants into my routine so I like that these toner pads are at a lower concentration than other BHA products. The pads are very convenient and time saving compared to traditional active toners where I would need to use a separate cotton pad to apply to targetted areas and to avoid sensitive areas. One side of the pad is smooth and the other side is textured. These pads have tea tree oil in it, which may not work for everyone. After using it for a few weeks about 1-2 times a week, I think it's breaking me out in painful bumps. So these pads may work for some but they didn't work for me.

I have used various exfoliating face pads over the years, but stopped when I transitioned to using daily microfoliant which is an exfoliating powdered scrub that I add to my cleanser every night. But, after using these pads, I think I am going to go back to using pads because wow, my skin responded really well after the very first time I used these. I wasn't excited about the scent when I first opened the well-sealed jar because I prefer my skincare products to be completely fragrance free, but it totally dissipated after application and thankfully, didn't cause any irritation to my sensitive skin. I have dry skin and these didn't dry me out at all--just added a healthy glow and definitely smoothed out my skin. I will continue to use these a few times a week and am really happy to have discovered them here--I hadn't heard of this brand before, but am glad I know it now!
