Haemmerlin 1041G Original Green 90 L Wheelbarrow with Pneumatic Tyre

Great well balanced wheelbarrow. It appears to be well made so I expect it to serve me a good while.

This is the third Haemmerlin wheelbarrow I've bought over the last 20 years. I am almost 70 now, and providing I keep the wheel well inflated, I can move ANYTHING around the garden....great balance!I had worn out the first one. The second one is pretty much finished so has been consigned to carry building materials and rubble. Whilst the third is for Sunday Best and is allowed to sleep over in the Greenhouse.I can't rate these barrows highly enough!

I've spent weeks looking for wheelbarrow online. I wanted something decent like what we used to use on our farm. The wheelbarrows my parent have are old over 30 years old and still in good condition. I am from a European country and have to say if I could I would buy them there as they are a lot more hard wearing then over here but postage or any other transport it's just too expensive. The biggest problem with wheelbarrows in the UK is that they have got short handle bars, nothing more annoying then kicking the wheelbarrow whilst pushing it. Another minus point is the overall build quality. So I decided to buy this one. It is one of the most expensive. It looked good online and matched my expectations. I received it within a few days of ordering. It looked good, its light. Build quality is good but not as good as I expected as they are advertised as European style. The tyre is not the traditional tractor tyre but almost smooth, with thin tread. It has got large pan ,wide handle bars but not as long as I wanted them to be but still OK. The sad thing is that I could not find better one. Maybe I am just to fussy , I like things that last ages not a couple of years and I do not mind to pay for it but there is no choice.

I have always used wheelbarrows made by Haemmerlin and wouldn’t dream of buying any other brand. They are very strong, come ready assembled and easy to wheel around the garden. A sturdy deep pan for loading garden rubbish and equally lots of space to move plants etc around the garden.

Arrived with rust spots on it already, hence extra discount. Despite that, and no quibble discount, it's a good strong wheelbarrow, all metal, sturdy and durable.

Having brought cheaper barrows in the past and them not lasting very long because inferior metal quality I decided to spend a little bit more and get the best. I have not been disappointed so far. Came ready assembled and is far more robust than the previous ones.
