Thorlos Men's Trhxw Max Cushion Trail Hiking Crew Socks

This is my 4th pair of these socks. I've bought them in different colors and different heights. The only reason I needed to buy another pair is that my husband thought one of the pairs was his and stretched them out (he has small feet for a guy). They are super comfortable and fit well. They are just slightly big on me- but I have a size 5 foot (small for a woman). Nice cushioning and stitching. My favorite socks for hiking and camping. They are warm, yet breathe.

Perfect for hiking!My husband and I hiked one of the trails out in the Grand Canyon. The trails were steep, it was hot and cold at the same time (depending on the wind and whether we were in the sun or not) - it was pretty rough terrain. However, these socks kept me comfortable throughout the day and night. It has insulation, but it dries out and keeps your feet dry. They held out and are in great shape. I would definitely recommend this sock.

These run a little small.. I wear a size 8-9 and ordered a small and it fits, but a medium probably would have been better. But, I wore them on my 14er, and they did great - not too hot and comfy! I would certainly recommend!

I'm kind of annoyed with my recent order. I ordered these socks a while back and they were fantastic, so I wanted more. I clicked to order the exact same thing, marked 'crew sock' and showing a photo of a sock that comes up several inches above the ankle. What I *received* was a pair of MINI crews, that barely clear my ankle, and which are more lightly padded than the trail hiking crew. This isn't worth the money charged, (a), and isn't how the produce was represented on Amazon. It feels like a giant pain to package and return a tiny pair of socks, but I'm cheesed off about the cost and the fact that I can't use these for anything other than house socks. One star = bad result.

My feet are so cold in the winter and these are the only socks that fit perfect, stay in shape, thick enough but not too much, and feel so comfortable and they really keep my feet warm! These are the only brand of socks for me!

Seems like most socks I buy are tight around the ankles (I have larger ankles). These are a nice, comfortable material that slip on nice but don't bind around the ankles. Great for hiking in cool or colder weather. I own several pairs of these.

It's great and comfortable I was hoping for padding on the heel though. It doesn't have any.

I wore these to go hiking in Glacier National Park. I wear a size 6 shoe and typically find that the heel of a lot of socks end up behind my foot, closer to the ankle and subsequently rub and create blisters. These socks fit perfectly. I put them on and forgot about them, meaning I didn't have to tug at them because they were sliding or bunching up. My feet were comfortable all day. A really nice pair of socks!

I miss my old worn out Thorlos, they were much better quality and much cheaper!
