Ordered the Fosi V3 to replace a Fosi 20a I had purchased some time ago. The main differences are, the V3 is a more simplistic setup, promises more power per channel, and uses high quality parts internally. It can come with either a 32 volt or 48 volt power supply. Opt for the 48 volt power supply, you will not regret it. The larger more powerful power supply will get you higher volumes with better quality output On the back side of this unit are connects for a pair of speakers and an analogue input. The older Fosi 20a just did not have as much power particularly with only the supplied 24 volt power supply and fell short driving my Polk Atrium 6 speakers at loud volume. Now, I am using this as a garage system. Hence, the reason I chose to go on the cheap with this system. But....the Fosi V3 got decent audio reviews so what the heck. The garage system is a music system to accompany working on projects or the cars vs. just sitting and listening to music like I do with my home systems that cost much much more. So after connecting up an older generation Echo device to stream music, I used 14 gauge audio cable to connect the speakers to the amp. Very easy to do. The result is as you see it in the attached video. Loud enough for me and the overall sound quality is very good. So, this unit has few connectivity options but what it does, it does well. What I really like about this amp is its small size allowing me to store it in my garage wall cabinet. I would imagine this amp could be part of a home system in a small to mid size room Just be sure to match it up with a pair of good speakers. Speakers with a high efficiency rating will serve you best that is 90db or better. Recommended.

Very clean amp with solid headroom — honestly more than enough, almost too loud for my setup. Running it on Polk Atrium outdoor speakers and it sounds fantastic. Beautiful, clean sound. Also really like the look of it. The volume knob is a nice size, feels just right to turn. The unit itself is a bit bigger than I expected, about the size of a novel. Power brick's kind of huge too, but it comes with a long cable, so just tuck it behind something and you'll forget it's even there. What I really love is how dead simple it is. There's no way to screw this up. I leave it on all the time — being class D, I'm assuming it's pretty low power draw, though I haven't actually measured it. If you want an affordable, no-BS amplifier, this is it. I'm looking at picking up a nice pair of bookshelf speakers soon, and I'm already having a hard time justifying spending more on an amp than this. Only nitpick, and it's a small one: if you're picky about tone, you might want an inline EQ. Honestly, if this had a built-in 10-band EQ for $50 more, I don't think I'd have a single complaint.

Purchased this as a replacement to a much higher priced mainstream brand. The sound works as good if not better, use this for a couple of surround speakers. Highly recommend and runs cooler.

My check of this amp revealed that it has a very clear, clean sound. But there are no tone controls and the bass had no character. I'm confident that upgrading the op amps would improve it, but the upgrade I had on hand was from SparkOS and *these require risers to physically fit*, which I did not have. I don't think power to drive reasonably efficient speakers is a problem, but almost all of the Chinese class D amps absurdly overstate their power. They can't deliver 300 watts into any impedance speaker if the power supply is only 240 watts, eg 48 volts X 5 amps.

Puts out much more power than I was expecting. I have 2 JBL Full cabinet bookshelf speakers, and I used this to hook them up to my PC. BLOWS away PC speaker kits that cost hundreds of dollars. Put out enough power to put them to their limits, Cant even max out the power on the amp, 75% power is enough for me to hear the sound ANYWHERE in my house. The sub out works perfect, hooked up an old 10 inch sub I had and its the perfect combo.

Sounds excellent! Works well to plug my keyboard into unpowered speakers and subwoofer. It initially caused a loud pop on the sub when turned on, but that went away when I set power to auto on the sub. Now, I can leverage the synth engine of my seqtrak instead of the abysmal sound of my Casio.

Great sounding amp in a very small package and clean with good channel separation. However, this is nowhere near 300w per channel as rated. Maybe 80 per channel? I'm not sure how they rate these but the number is grossly exaggerated.

So far so good. Runs warm compared to other class D amps. The 48v power supply makes it run hotter than 32v , supposedly. Sounds clean and airy paired with Sony SS-CS5M2 bookshelf speakers Update: Returned and replaced with Fosi V1.OG that stays cool during use. V3 was always warm just sitting there. Really didn't need that much power.

I'm a music lover and this makes one of my favorite music devices. Delivers the best sound quality for me. Recommended.

Utilisé pour avec des enceinte spassives Q acoustics 2020i, après avoir tenté un TEAC et un Denon PMA60, le Fosi audio brille par sa puissance sans compromettre la clarté de la musique. Le son est beaucoup plus clair que sur les deux chaînes sus mentionnées qui m'ont coûtées 4 fois plus. Il ne chauffe pas ou peu. L'allumage se fait par le bouton de réglage du son, et celui-ci donne une bonne sensation de résistance (souple mais pas trop) lorsqu'on le tourne. Il y a un très léger crachement à l'allumage, mais pas de violent "pop", et aucun son à l'extinction. Equippé d'une sortie enceinte et d'une entrée RCA (je n'est pas testé la sortie "pre out"), il n'offre que le minimum syndical et nécessite une installation DAC/CD/PC pour lire du son, mais la différence de prix permet de se payer du matériel spécialisé beaucoup plus performant que sur les chaînes HIFI multitâches "tout en un". L'ensemble revenant beaucoup moins cher pour une qualité bien supérieure. II ne pèse que quelques centaines de grammes et tient dans la paume de la main, les câbles peuvent d'ailleurs le tirer vers l'arrière et c'est à prendre en compte dans votre installation. Quand l'appareil est éteint, le transformateur 48V reste allumé -prévoir une prise à interrupteur.

He adquirido otros amplificadores FOSI clase D, y no me han decepcionado. En mi caso para cadena de audio que he ideado. Mediando como cerebro un WiiM Ultra. Alimentando de señal a otro amplificador fosi -M01 BT MONO SUB AMPLIFIER-para mover un Dayton Audio BST-300EX, 300 vatios RMS, agitador de graves táctil, impedancia de 4 ohmios, aparte la misma salida DE subwoofer del WiiM ultra alimenta señal para un subwoofer activo Yamaha de 250 watts.A su vez, en esta cadena va conectado un procesador de campos sonoros Yamaha, producto Vintage de excelentes prestaciones.Y para esto , este aparato requiere de 4 a 6 canales de audio, lo tengo a 4 canales con otro amplificador FOSI. EN ESTE PEDIDO : este Amplificador Fosi Audio V3, es Amplificador estéreo de audio para el hogar de 300 vatios x2 de potencia TPA3255 clase D Mini amplificador de altavoz 2 canales. En este caso lo pedí con su Power Adapter 48v/5A. Es un "monstruo" más grande y pesado que el mismo amplificador Me agrada su aspecto minimalista,con un solo botón para encender (hace "clic") y manejar el volumen Y si , lo esperado, se calienta, yo digo lo normal. Escribiré posteriores opiniones según se vayan portando estas pequeñas bestias amplificadoras

Ho avuto un problema di malfunzionamento dei miei amplificatori autocostruiti qualche decina di anni or sono su progetti della rivista Elektor. Mi hanno dato buona musica per molto tempo in un impianto a tre vie multiamplificato con crossover attivo. Ora è venuta meno la voglia di mettergli le mani e soprattutto la convenienza considerato il costo dei validi prodotti che in classe D ora offre il mercato. La scelta è caduta su questo modello Fosi non tanto per la potenza (sui cui valori sono già state esaurite le considerazioni - e quella che mi è necessaria è senza dubbio ampiamente soddisfatta dai valori minimi ricavabili) ma per la accuratezza della riproduzione e per la silenziosità assoluta degli amplificatori sia senza segnale in ingresso sia all'atto della accensione e dello spegnimento. Nessun ronzio nessun rumore. I potenziometri dei volumi sono stati impostati intorno alla metà corsa ed il volume generale viene regolato dal livello della sorgente (cd). Poichè il loro livello di volume deve restare invariato li ho collegati ad una ciabatta con interruttori che mi consente di spegnerli per primi e accenderli per ultimi rispetto al resto dell'impianto. Devo dire che rispetto alle mie realizzazioni oltre ad avere guadagnato notevolmente in spazio (!!!!) ho avuto benefici notevoli anche nel suono mettendo in luce i limiti di progettazioni sia pure valide ma di altri tempi. I morsetti di connessione sono comodi per banane da 4mm. L'alimentatore l'ho scelto della taglia maggiore non per sfruttare le possibilità di potenza ma per dare un ampio respiro di funzionamento. Durante l'utilizzo di alcune ore gli alimentatori sono a temperatura ambiente e gli involucri degli amplificatori sono appena tiepidi. Peraltro nel mio caso lavorano ognuno su una banda di frequenza del segnale audio e quindi non deve un ampli gestire tutto il segnale. Ritengo che ne sarebbe comunque capace. Inoltre ho scelto questo modello perchè l'impedenza degli altoparlanti collegati gestibile va da 2 a 8ohm. Lo ritengo un amplificatore dinamico e raffinato che sarà il compagno di tanta buona musica. Sono soddisfatto del prodotto.
