6 foot, 140 lbs soaking wetSize Large is what you’d expect in a 2XL shirt.It’s uncertain where the clothing industry turns to when it comes to the Global standard for size. Perchance we could send designers a picture of Vitruvian Man.A size Large Dickies t-shirt purchased at a department store a few years ago was more like a Medium size compared to the classic T-shirt from Retro ‘80’s or ‘70’s.Some consistency for us Gen X-men would be nice! After all, the coolest brand should look sharp on the coolest generation harr harr😎There’s a significant difference in size between two Size Large t-shirts that were acquired from two different dealers, and made in two different countries.This Amazon Size L made in Nicaragua🇳🇮 is way too big. In all fairness, am a slim cat, but it’s still completely oversized!The one bought at the local department-store and made in Bangladesh🇧🇩 is a lot smaller by a significant amount. It is, however, much closer to an ‘ol’ school’ size Large.. but it’s just a little too small.As someone who’d rather gift off a personally unsuited item to someone more fitting for it, exchanging it and taking a chance on a size down (Medium) is not an option.More than likely, it’ll be disproportionate as well.
