Works Great But Know Your Size
So I recently got this as I wanted a cot for some of my camping adventures. I’m 5’11 at about 265 lbs with broad shoulders. So, I bought the Wide version of this cot. That was both good and bad.The bad:As it turns out the Wide version of this cot is much wider than anticipated. It leaves me maybe 3 to 4 inches of total extra space on my sides, and it takes up a lot of space in my four person tent SUV tent. It stretches the length of the tent and partially blocking my side doors. Also, this means it’s extra heavier and bulkier than anticipated. For car camping or a short hike away from your car it’s okay but you probably don’t want to carry this more than a couple hundred feet.See the attached photo for reference. My body lays on the green Unigear Wide Pad, and the cot just engulfs it. You can also see how it goes the whole lenght of the tent. The Good,While it is too wide, that also makes it very comfortable. I’m a side sleeper and I move a lot while sleeping, but I have plenty of room to move around and even lay small items like my keys, iPhone etc. next to me on the cot. Speaking of which the side pockets and head rest/ pillow stuff sack comes in very handy. This product is well made and it easily supports my weight. Everything snaps into place fine but it does require a little muscle to get some components connected/disconnected.

Worth the higher price
The latch handles are contoured so they don’t cut into your hand Closing puts considerable force on your hand. Some low cost designs have a thin metal blade which can hurt. The cot is quiet when you roll and move. The high position makes it so much easier to get out of and to put shoes on. I feared the three leg design wouldn’t be stable compared to four leg designs. No concern. Sitting up or down naturally positions the body over the middle legs so it is stable. The three leg design has fewer parts to assemble or lose. I’m a side sleeper and found it comfortable. If a cot is too concave, it can be uncomfortable for a side sleeper. The 900D fabric should result in less stretching and sagging than lower D fabrics, often 300D in low cost cots. I have plenty of clearance from the bows. A Therma-rest Z light original pad fits perfectly. The cot was comfortable without the pad, but the pad keeps cold away and adds to comfort.Assembly was easy once I figured out the bows were packed the bag with the legs pointing the wrong way. Simply slide apart and slide on facing the right way. Some nice touches: Directions are on a tag sewn on the bag. The bag is large enough to fit everything without a struggle. All components except leg extensions have shock cord so parts won’t get separated and lost. If a shock cord breaks, it appears it can still be assembled and function unlike some cots I considered. I especially like the light weight without loss of sturdiness and quality. One thing I would change is to have the pocket located on the right side of the cot so it is accessible with the right hand when a right handed person rolls on their left shoulder to reach with their right hand.Check your tent size. On my 7’x7’ footprint 3 person tent, with the cot in the 15” high position, it pushes against the tent sides out a couple inches due to the slope of the tent sides. Headroom when lying down may be low unless the cot is moved to an optimum position in the tent.

Saved my back
Went on a 2 wks trip.I have a bad back and cannot sleep on soft bed. This saved my back. With only about 7lbs. It is light enough and small enough to pack in my luggage without taking up too much weight and space.Compact enough to fit in the hotel room.Easy to setup and tear down.Solid build. It will be hard for me to not bring it to other trips. Kids liked it better than the hotel beds too and wanted to take it from me. Will look to get another one.

Love the cot, comfortable and roomy. Great customer service.
When I received product the first time, two of the plastic connectors were damaged. I reached out to the seller and they were VERY responsive. We exchanged multiple email communications and they always responded quickly and professionally. They shipped a replacement promptly. Now for the cot- I bought it for myself, but when I had my 22 yr old son test it out for me, he loved it so much it turned into a "permanently borrow" situation lol. He actually sleeps on it rather than his bed sometimes (granted he is the outdorsy type). So it looks like I'll be ordering another one. I got the larger size, it's roomy, comfortable, and I love the extra storage on the side and underneath. After much research I found this cot was the best balance of weight / sturdiness / cost / durability. Not ultra-light so probably not the best hiking option, but for regular camping - definitely recommend
