This silicone hot hair tool pouch is a GAME CHANGER for hairstyling! It arrived just as described, pictured & with a high quality adhesive backed stainless steel hook.The high grade silicone is flexible yet strong. It can withstand temps of 450-500 degrees making it ideal for Cosmetologists, such as myself. Our professional tools offer higher heat settings compared to what you would find at a drugstore/box store & I had no issue w/my irons 1-set to 450 & the other set to-425 (NO HAIR should ever be subjected to heat over 400 degrees) so it does work as advertised.The pouch is a nice size however, I wish it didn’t narrow towards the bottom because it would allow for an extra tool to be added when in use, & this is why I deducted 1-star. I’m able to fit both my 2” Nano bliss flat iron & my 1”marcel iron into the sleeve at the same time, with room to grab each easily. I also am able to fit my larger heavier professional blow dryer, but because of the narrowing (as mentioned above) it’s more 1/2 in & 1/2 out which makes me feel uncomfortable using for my expensive blow dryer.All in all, I’m pleased with this product & its performance. It’s proven to be quite handy with not only protecting countertops but also aesthetically for keeping things nice & neat.

This product consists of two parts: the silicone pouch/holder and a stainless steel hook. The hook has a flat squarish base, with a self-adhesive backing. If you're using this to hold a curling iron the hook should be quite capable of suspending the pouch and iron. I would not put excessive weight in the pouch, though. Personally, I'm wary of self-adhesive hooks. Although we installed one to hold bath towels, and it's been fine for over 2 years (the hook was from the well known name brand, and was attached per instructions).Oddly, there are no instructions included with the product. Before attaching the hook, make sure that it's a smooth, flat surface (tile or counter top works fine). Clean and thoroughly dry the target surface. Then peel back the cover, which clearly states 3M PE FOAM (nice to have a good brand). Position the hook and press onto the target space. Of course, you should calculate this placement, using the hook in place with the pouch attached. The process is common sense, though.We like the thickness of the pouch. It gives the pouch a good form structure, which also conveys a sense of durability. Plus, it affords excellent heat protection. Presently, the significant other wants it laying on top of the bathroom counter. She's not sure if she wants to keep it in the bathroom or the makeup desk where she sometimes dries and fixes her hair.Overall, it's a very good product. The thickness was a concern, but it proves to be appropriately constructed. It ably meets expectations, earning a 4.5+ star rating, with a very high level recommendation.

I have up on the hook pretty quickly and just put this on my vanity. The silicone will prevent scorch marks, but it doesn’t totally stop the heat. I have stone vanity tops, but I’d use caution if yours are plastic. I don’t love that it has “silicone holder” printed on it. Kind of ugly. Does the job it needs to do though.

Coming up on 30 years of marriage, I'm not sure a week has gone by where I haven't received a call or text from my wife asking to check if her curling iron is unplugged. Fortunately there has yet to be an instance where her curling iron *was* still on, but I get her concern.So when I saw this silicone hair tool sleeve, I knew it would be as much a gift for me as it was for her.The sleeve is well formed of heavy silicone with easily enough room for both a flat iron and a curling iron if you're comfortable packing tools together. Much like a trivet, the sleeve does an excellent job protecting surfaces, hands, and other materials from burns or potentially catching fire. There's no real trick to it, simply place your hot tools in the pocket.An adhesive hook to hang the sleeve is also included, but I would caution about trusting the adhesive with the weight of hot tools for any amount of time. If this is a feature you wish to use, I'd suggest a more permanent and secure way of installing a hook on which to hang the sleeve.Suffice to say, I am happy that this small item can provide some peace of mind to my wife and a reduction in panicked texts to me. A must have if you use hair irons.

Great product for bathrooms like mine with minimal storage space. I let the adhesive hook sit overnight around ensure it was well attached before using. It works perfectly for holding my hairdryer and other styling tools when needed. It seems sturdy and well-made- perfect for what I needed it for.

This silicone holder provides an easy and safe way to keep hot tools off of your vanity or sink. It stays cool to the touch and has a large pouch that can hold two hot tools. The included hook seems sturdy and the adhesive has held up well so far. If you hang it vertically (i.e. on the side of your sink), it does tend to lean forward, but if you fold the hanging flag over the edge of your sink / vanity and hang it over the ledge, there is no sagging. Overall, the item is as pictured and works as expected.

This is a well made silicone pocket that can hold more than one hot iron or curling iron at a time. It’s secure with the wall hook. Also would be helpful in a craft room to hold different items. There are holes in the bottom to release the heat so it might not be good for using for items that might fall through the holes. The color is bright and attractive. Perfect gift for teens and college age girls. Perfect for sharing bathrooms because you don’t take up the counter space with your curling devices. And when you share bathrooms as girls you know how valuable that real estate is. This is a good buy and a great gift!
