Our kids and their friends love this toy, the darts fly pretty well and are pretty sturdy. The magnets stick pretty well, but they do have a tendency to bounce off the board and shift an inch lower than where it first strikes the board. But this is not a serious con, unless you are very serious about darts - in which case you shouldn't be buying a cheap kids version to begin with. The game is a lot of fun, good enough that our son wants to take this to school for a game day. Its a bit hard to mount on the wall correctly - if you put screws both for the top and the bottom of the board - the board sits snugly and doesn't move while taking the darts off. Also, the darts don't damage the wall at all - this was after a kid-party with 10 boys throwing these darts at the board/wall with abandon.

For my grandson's 13th birthday his parents made him a 'teen cave' to hang out with his friends. This item was a great addition as it is safe and doesn't mar the walls. The dartboard looks exactly like the large size version but has no raised wires. The adults don't need to worry about safety since the darts are magnetic. They stick to the board well. The teen cave idea was a huge hit with adults and kids alike. The formal living room wasn't getting any use and is very popular repurposed in this way. The kids can play their games, watch their own movies, play their musical instruments and they even have a mini fridge for drinks and snacks. They feel very grown up having a place of their own and even like to do homework in there. The dartboard adds a nice effect as decor and of course is fun for a game.

The purpose I bought them for became useless pretty quickly, but the product itself is amazing. Personal issue, unbiased it's great and a good dart board for kids.

My 9 year old son wanted a dart board, but he has older and younger siblings, so having darts flying around any part of our house was a big no-no. This was part of his Christmas present and since hanging it up in our hallway, it has been a great source of fun for all of our kids and adults. It's at one end of a hallway and the hallway is long enough to accommodate throwing from a close up position or backing up for a more challenging distance. The magnets work well and don't damage our wall even when thrown with force, as often times adult guests do. My 3 year old nephew can even get a bullseye from time to time. He actually played non-stop for 15-20 minutes, retrieving the missed magnetic darts himself and climbing on a little step stool to get the magnetic darts that stuck to the board. Replacement magnetic darts are available for purchase if needed for about $14. If your kids, or you, are not ready for real darts that are sharp, this is a wonderful alternative.

We installed a dartboard cabinet in our gameroom, and we have kids. This dartboard was ideal for our need. The darts are safe for kids (and adults). It’s different from other typical magnet darts: it is stronger and the magnets do not fall off. It sticks well to the dartboard. The company was also responsive to questions and addressed our needs. Great experience and product!

The magnetic quality of the darts is no better or worse than other magnetic dart boards despite claims to the contrary. The body of the dart is a cheap molded trumpet shaped plastic that doesn't resemble a "dart" with a straight body and fins. They do not fly true and are not aerodynamic. It is always a guess as to where they will go. They are difficult to grasp for a decent throw. The package is probably ok for little kids who really aren't concerned with accuracy but even then it is vastly overpriced for the value. I previously owned one of the roll-up type magnetic dart board which was much less expensive and provided a better and more realistic experience.

I have bought 2 so far for gifts for my nephews and both the one local and the one out of state both loved them! the older and younger siblings also enjoyed playing along. It was fun for the adults to play too. it is cardboard backed but that makes it more light weight which is a plus if you are hanging it on the wall. The darts stick to the board great and with little effort. the darts are big enough to fit in little hands but small enough to still fly pretty straight. the back of the dart is a mesh and is flexible in a similar way as a Chinese finger trap so one thing to watch for is little ones will be tempted to stick their fingers in although similar to the finger trap they can be removed pretty easily. Def would buy again if I had any more little ones to buy for. :)

I wanted a dart board in the game room, but with a toddler and dogs I didn't want the safety concerns of traditional darts. This dart board fits the bill perfectly! First and foremost, the actual mechanics of play are great. The darts stick to the board with authority. The board itself is well made - it's light-weight, but so far is standing up to use (and abuse) without showing any signs of wear. If you're a hardcore dart player this probably wouldn't be very satisfying, as the 'tips' are actually circular magnets so it's virtually impossible to group darts near each other like you can with traditional needle-tip darts. We only play for fun, so this was not an issue for us. Put it all together and this was a great purchase, great fun, and highly recommended.

Haven't had the board long but seems great so far! We're enjoying it for a family game. The quality of the product seems good, the magnets work well.

The kids loved this game. The magnets are very strong and stick well to the board. Very good starter set for my 5 and 6 year old.

No way can these darts be aimed! like throwing a paper airplane made by a five year old.

Bought this for my 11 and 14 year old as well as for myself to play with the kids. Previously bought another magnetic dart board from amazon that I was very disappointed with - the darts dented the board with each easy throw and about 1 in every 5 darts actually stuck to the board. The Doinkit Darts however was a stark contrast to the one I returned last week. This one is very consistent in that the darts stick to the board more consistently than an actual dart board with pointed darts. The board does not dent with each throw either. There are slight scuff marks that you can see when you look carefully from the side but not at all obvious. Once a thrown dart is on the board, it stays on the board but can be bumped sideways if hit with another dart (minor issue as real darts can be dislodged as well as bounce out when thrown). The dart throws reasonably true, though I am sure a professional dart player may disagree. That said, if you are that much into darts, then you probably aren't even reading this review anyways! I give these a high rating and recommend for anyone who wants to have fun either for a social evening with friends or for the kids to play without fear of a dart in the eye or putting holes all over the house.
