EasyCare36664 PoolTec Winter Lay-Up Pool Treatment, 64 oz. Bottle

I purchased this product to add to my inground pool when covering for the winter. We did not get around to closing and the pool stayed clear all winter with very little chemicals. When we had a few warm days leading up to Spring the pool rapidly turned green. I went to see what chemicals I had laying around and came across this bottle. I dumped it in and ordered some other chemicals, I was shocked and pleasantly surprised to see that this little bottle alone killed all the algae and left the pool blue again before any other treatments. This little bottle here is powerful and amazing even though not advertised as such, it brought my swamp back to blue in 48 hours. I will definitely be keeping this on hand from here on out.

I am in Northern California and in November I was looking for a winter pool chemical. It needed to be simple to use, did not require other chemicals and kept my pool clear for the winter. My local pool shop recommended the Pooltec chemical to me. I was skeptical at first since it looked like a regular algaecide to me, but the clerk confirmed it was for winter use. He told me to follow instruction and just let the chemical do it work.I followed the instruction and poured about 75% of chemical in the pool. I been checking my pool from time to time and so far it has not turn green or yellow. Only downside of this chemical is you will need to add the same amount in 2 months again. However this chemical works.While I did not buy this from Amazon, I am writing to tell others it met my goals.
