After 6 months of buying, finally finished my trip. Would say this bag preforms better than I thought. Since my car don't have roof bar, I worried clamping the hooks on the door trim will cause a leak. After driving 70mph through heavy rain, it turns out fine. It can hold 4 full size 30 kg checked in luggage, my panroof is also fine, no crack or anything. When there's not much stuff in the bag, it creates a lot of wind noises, but after all luggage are full, there isn't much noise. Security is one of the biggest problem of this bag. Someone with a knife will be able to cut through the fabric easily. That's why we are using the suitcases. The only defence is a small lock on the zip where you have to purchase separately. Giving the low cost of this bag, I would say I recommend this bag to anyone going to a secure camp site where theif will not be a problem.

I was a bit sceptical as it’s so much cheaper than a proper roof rails and box but so so pleased we got it. Just finished our first 3 hour journey, in the rain and wind, it didn’t budge a bit and everything inside is still dry. It was easy to install using the door hooks and the storage capacity is great. We filled it up as that what’s recommended in the instructions. Gave us, the kids and the dog a lot more room in the car. It did drip slightly from the door hooks in to the car but really minimal and it was raining rather heavily so I’ll take that. Overall we were really impressed!

I would highly recommend this roof bag. We fit so much in for camping, a family of 3. It's superbly made, excellent quality, strength, waterproof & looks good. Better on the roof rather that our particular roof bars. The anti-slip mat works perfectly. Love it. Excellent value for a really great product. Highly recommend.

Great product. Easy to store, easy to install on your car roof

Bought this for a trip away for a week. We needed additional space and didn't want to get a roof box. So bought this instead. After reading the reviews I first regretted my purchase and was ready to return. But honestly it kept all our belongings dry throughout the 700 mile round trip. The only downside is trying to get it on as we have a tall car but that's not the manufacturers fault. Looking back it made some hilarious ring doorbell footage of us fighting it on in the rain but I would recommend this if your looking for additional storage for a road trip. We still added on the way back one additional rachet strap but that was just for reassurance. We had already done the first 350 miles with the ones provided and it was just fine.

Our main car packed up just before Christmas and we (4 adults and 2 dogs!) needed to make a 300 mile trip in a very small car with no roof rails or bars for our roof box - a roof bag like this seemed the only option so ordered one of these which arrived just in time. It ain’t pretty and it does your mpg no favours but it did the job - fastened to the car using the door jam hooks with the supplied anti slip mat underneath, the bag took all our clothes bags, coats, shoes etc with room to spare ( this is actually way bigger than our roof box) . We travelled during a storm with high winds and rain and had no problems with the bag moving and everything stayed dry inside. Only issue i had initially was the extra strap material flapping about on the roof but my fault for not using the Velcro tabs to fasten them down. Actually quite tempted to get rid of our roof box now and use this in the future as it is much easier to fit and store. All in all it did what I needed for not a lot of money.

Was easy enough to use even on a car without rails / racks. I have a 7 seater so I can’t say if it would fit on a smaller car. It held 5 suitcases of varying sizes and still had some room left. I never felt at any point that it would fall off during my motorway journeys. The straps seemed pretty strong and the hooks held well even when not connected to the main storage bag. I’m unable to comment on the waterproof resistance. I’d recommend this product to anyone needing a bit more space for their luggage

Ho usato il box in viaggio e l'ho testato in in diverse situazioni: in autostrada dove non ha creato alcun rumore in viaggio, in nave dove non ha avuto nessun problema di ingombro verso l'alto, grazie ai suoi 6 attacchi regolabili in lunghezza ottima stabilità. non ho testato l'impermeabilità a causa dell'assenza di pioggia del periodo ma avendolo lavato dopo l'utilizzo ho potuto notare che risponde a quanto promesso nell'annuncio. Consiglio l'acquisto, ottimo spazio aggiuntivo di carico.

C'est pour moi, l'achat de l'année ! Acheté en dernière minute à 14h, il était là le lendemain. Très facile à monter (livret en anglais peu clair, mais la vidéo en lien est très explicite) sans barres de toit, rapide, maniable. S'enlève de même en un rien de temps. Chargement très simple, bien que ma voiture soit haute. Pour la contenance, elle nous était suffisante, en tout cas, égale à la description. Voire les autres tailles si besoin. Nous avons pu charger une grande valise, une valise moyenne, une petite valise et un sac de voyage (type militaire opex). Nous aurions pu encore ajouter des petits sacs. Le tapis antidérapant est très efficace, le sac n'a pas bougé sur 2000km, dont des routes à 130km/h. Petite vigilance en resserrant les liens lors des pauses, mais vraiment peu de mouvements. Pas de bruits supplémentaires lors de la route (nous avons enroulé les lanières pour qu'elles ne cognent pas contre la carrosserie ou les vitres). Aucune infiltration d'eau lorsque nous avons roulé sous la pluie. Bref, je recommande !!!

Je cherchais un bagage de toit pour partir en Suisse, mais ça me faisait mal de dépenser plusieurs centaines d'euros juste pour une seule fois sans être certain que je m'en servirais souvent. J'ai donc opté pour ce sac de toit, à vrai dire un peu dubitatif. Il s'est trouvé que c'est vraiment très pratique! Facile à monter, et en plus une fois rangé dans sa housse ça ne prend vraiment pas beaucoup de place. La capacité est tout à fait correcte, j'ai pu y mettre une grande valise, une petite valise, un grand sac de trek et plusieurs sacs avec du matériel et des aliments. En plus, il tient très bien en place. Par contre, vaut mieux acheter un tapis de protection pour mettre entre le sac et le toit car il est directement posé dessus.

Tried during a two month road trip. Easy and quick to install and uninstall , it withstood heavy rain and highway speed. With a carpet between the between the roof and the bag, the roof remained intact and the bag did not move. Excellent value.
