Basic and easy to understand introduction to financial statements. This is a high level review. I definitely learned something, but you may want to consider another book if you want a in-depth / detailed dive into financial statements.

To analyze financial statements for the benefit of deciding whether or not to invest in a company, you first need to understand what the financial statements are telling you. This book gives you a very easy to understand breakdown of the financial statements so that you can begin to do the analysis. I would recommend this book to anyone who has little to no understanding of the financial statements. You can easily take your education further from here but this is an excellent start.

I have spent a lot of time lately learning about investing and other aspects of personal finance. I was recommended to learn about how to read financial statements and purchased this book. I was not disappointed.This book is short, but provides a good enough description on all the parts of a financial statement that a person can actually read a company's Cash Flows and other documents and be able to understand where a company stands financially. It discusses different indicators and ratios used to make assessments, but it does not get very deep into how to analyze a company based on financial statements. Good reading if you are getting into investing and want to learn the first part of being able to understand whether this company might warrant your money and/or your attention.

As a beginner who is starting my investing journey, the book has provided me with clear, concise, and very well-written information. Highly recommended!!!

I really enjoyed reading this book because it explained difficult concepts in a very easy-to-use and application process. The author wrote in a style that is very helpful in understanding the concepts of Financial statements.
