Thoughtfully Engineered!
Usually I won't buy anything on Amazon with a single digit review count, but I'm glad I took the risk this time! I bought these because I wanted a pair of sturdy stands that could house the pair of Klipsch RP600M speakers (16 lb each) I use for surrounds in my 5.1 setup. I thought they looked nice and the 34" height is perfect to make sure my speakers peak over the back of my couch. These stands are a bit pricey and the review count gave me pause, but they're an appropriate buy with all of this in mind. Ordinarily I'd dock a product like this by one star for the premium price tag but in this case I actually think it's justified. Everything about these stands is VERY well engineered. A few things that I noticed and appreciate: - The packaging feels very premium. The two stands are packed together compactly in one box. The cardboard is thick with a glossy finish and tasteful branding that feels like quality, not to mention the individually sleeved components to protect the surface finishes during transit. - Speaking of finish, the stands have a stylish black textured metal look that pairs well with my ebony speakers. The surfaces feel and look premium. - Assembly is simple with all required tools included. Instructions are clear but you could probably figure it out without them. The inclusion of two sets of swappable screw-on feet is great for mounting on carpet or direct on your floors. The feet are rubberized for vibration isolation in either case. - Functionally these are everything I'd ask for. They're sturdy and the hollowed out shaft makes for a sleek cable management solution. The wire connections to the back of the speakers atop the stands are minimally visible and the feet on the base allow you to run the speaker wire in any direction without any unnecessary slack or messy appearance. Again, I'd normally dock points for price but I appreciate good engineering and I found thoughtful design choices in every aspect of this product. Everything about these stands is great from the way they arrived at my door to the way they stand in my living room and enable me to annoy my neighbors. A+ product.

Solid Speaker Stands, Wish the Base Was Steel Too
I bought these for my Polk ES15's, and they do a great job of providing a sturdy and stylish foundation that enhances both audio quality and aesthetic appeal. 28" height is the ideal size for using my ES15's a surround speakers. The build quality is excellent overall, with a durable frame and stable design that minimizes vibrations for optimal sound performance. One detail worth noting: the base is MDF while the speaker platform is steel. I think both being steel would have provided even greater stability, especially for heavier speakers. Assembly was straightforward thanks to clear instructions and included hardware, and once set up, the stands look sharp and perform well. Overall, these stands are a solid investment for anyone looking to elevate their home audio setup. Quality, functionality, and value are all here—just be aware of the MDF base if maximum stability is your priority. NOTE: do not overtighten the screws as the threaded inserts are only tack welded in.

Amazing stands at a reasonable price
The assembly is super clean and took less then 5mins for both. I am currently using them for my Martin Logan B10s and they are amazing. Even when pushed a bit they stand upright and quickly reseat themselves so I don't worry about them tipping over, I am using blutack for a stronger hold just as I'm paranoid but they do come with optional bumpers to help decouple the speaker from the stand.

Fantastic stands
I own these and the taller ones and they’re great. Solid elegant construction with smart cable routing. No need to look any further, get these.

attractive but unserious stands suitabl for light of duty as surrounds only
These are nice minimalist entry-level stands, not serious stands suitable for heavy audiophile speakers. Everything is well-labeled, well-packaged, easy-to-assemble, and the finished product is attractive. However, I would not recommend these for high-quality main speakers (ie anything you really care about), but only for lightweight compact surrounds. The metal plates on which the speakers sit are tiny and unpadded; the bases of these stands are made not of metal, but of lightweight MDF. From a distance, nobody looking at them will know that the bases are cheap pressed particleboard, as the finish does a good job of mimicking that of the steel column, but you will know (and regret it). If you care about things like this, pay a little more and get a sturdier stand with a metal base and columns that can be filled. (Seriously, it pays to "buy once, cry once"… rather than buy the cheapest thing, then upgrade to the next step up, then the next step up.) On the bright side, Kanto includes both spikes and pads for the bottoms. As long as you keep your expectations in check, and do not expect premium performance from these lightweight stands, you might be satisfied. Definitely don't put them in a high traffic area with small kids, though. They cannot be filled with sand or shot to teduce resonance and make them more stable, because the entry point for the speaker wire is a wide cutout in the base of the stand. These are light enough to be easily knocked over by a child playing in a high traffic area. Kanto offers similar all stainless steel stands with rotating top plates, but they are not cheap ($180). Still, I would recommend those over this model. Normally I would recommend Monoprice's all-metal Monolith stands, which blow these out of the water in every way except for cable routing, but Monoprice's customer service isn't what it used to be, and it seems unable to keep those stands in stock... so good luck finding something heavy, well-made, and affordable. If you want a serious stand for a fair price, your best bet is probably to check your local craigslist or other online marketplace (rather than investing in a disposable cheap stand): fickle audiophiles are always offloading excellent high quality stuff for a fraction of their original price.
