Let me give you a fair review for this Espresso coffee machine. First of all I want to thank the seller who sent me the colour that I have ordered, he made sure it was the right one. The coffee machine it has a very nice design, and a decent size. It's easy to use if you are a batista or if you have any idea how to use properly a coffee machine. It's explained in the manual step by step anyway. The important thing is to use good quality coffee. The milk is coming out very creamy and smooth if you know how to do it properly (plenty of tutorials on YouTube and a bit of practice will do it). You have to find the perfect grinding size, depending on your preference. For creamy Espresso, you should do the extra fine grinding. The machine takes a few seconds to heat up and coffee is made very fast. After filling m coffee cup, if you don't clean the coffee handler straight away, I suggest to put a small saucer under to catch the dripping, or another empty cup. I heard people say that the coffee is not hot enough. To be honest, hor me is the perfect temperature as I have my coffee with milk, latte or cappuccino and I don't like the coffee to burn my lips. Me, personally, I'm really happy with this coffee machine. It comes with all the accessories, and an extra compartment for extra accessories. For a house coffee machine, it's excellent, but you need to be patient and learn how to use it properly. ❗️First 2-3 coffees will not be really good. But after the system is working a couple of times, it's grate. Don't forget to clean it after every use, especially the milk frother and use good quality water and good coffee beans. It's easy to clean as well. It does make a bit of noise, but that is normal.

For the look… 100%. The quality of coffee is awful. I tried everything but the coffee was too cold. Item being sent back. For SMEG, this is really disappointing.

Very easy to use looks good and makes a great coffee

My machine had very light use and stopped working altogether after 2 years. It leaked water onto my kitchen surface. When it was working coffee was nice (but not hot); and the settings use to reset all the time. When it stopped working, I contacted the Customer Service and was told that it was very labour intensive to fix, was a hassle to send the heavy machine back to them for repair (funny how it's not a problem/ too heavy when you buy the machine) and basically not worth it. I now have a nice looking but useless kitchen item. Very disappointing follow up service.
