This is truly a matte, a no shine finish within seconds. I've tried at least 10 other products advertised as Matte but they all had some shine or white residue. This is absolutely flat matte. There is almost no fragrance, maybe just the slightest mint scent but that instantly goes away. As a matter of fact, if you want your skin to be less shiny you can use this every day. I cannot say what it would do for oily skin. It's expensive but only a small amount is required if you just do your face. Now I don't have to walk around with a shiny face or white patches when I wear sunscreen. For me there was no white residue, but I have very pale skin. If you have darker skin you'll just have to try it to see if it works for you. This is a quality product. I'm stocking up on this because every time I find a product I like it seems to get discontinued.

Just perfect, finally a real matte finish sunscreen!!

This sunscreen gives a really nice matte finish and feels lightweight on the skin. It absorbs quickly without leaving that greasy feeling, which I appreciate for everyday wear. The protection seems solid and I didn’t notice any white cast. That said, I felt like it’s a bit overpriced for what you get. I wish it came in a bigger size or lasted a bit longer. It can also feel a touch dry on some areas if you apply too much. Still a good option if you want matte SPF, just not my favorite overall.

The positives; soft, smooth, nourishing and it does not pill. My skin feels so soft. The negatives; it is not a gel, more like a suspended cream, if that makes sense. For the hot moths coming up it will have to become a hand/arm product because because it will sweat off my face.

Finally I found a facial sunscreen that works that's not all greasy and making my eyes water. It's matte like it says.

Great product

If you are oily skinned and tired of sunscreens that leave you greasy and shiny, this sunscreen absolutely delivers on a matte, dry finish that lasts all day. Unfortunately, there is a slight white cast on my skin that shows up as white particles, especially on the eyebrows. I remedy this by applying the sunscreen while my skin is still damp and misting my face with water when reapplying on the go. This results in a flawless finish with the white cast smoothening out as my skin warms up. I am glad I gave it a few tries with different moisturizers and application methods because it really is an excellent matte sunscreen, and so far, the only sunscreen I have tried that is actually matte, and I have tried many.
