Bought as my curtains aren't really as "blackout" as I'd really like and especially in the Summer months, the morning light gets brighter, earlier than I'd like to be waking up. This mask is extremely soft to the touch, silky like. Unfortunately for me (your mileage may vary) the distance between the top of the mask and the bridge of the nose is only just large enough to cover my eyes, and unless you sleep perfectly still through the night ............. has anyone actually ever achieved this? then the mask seems to move a bit from its original position leading to a less than perfect fit. Even when positioned perfectly to start with there does seem to be a tiny bit of ingress of light. Overall it's acceptable for its intended use, but is far from the total blackout I'd have preferred. It does fit comfortably and has a very adjustable elastic strap that can be adjusted to get just the right tension without it being too tight. I just wish it was ever so slightly deeper between the top and the bridge, for my instance. My son thinks it fits perfectly fine so it may very well just be my bizarrely shaped head !!
