Did its JOB!
I ordered the ube extract (no color). So happy I found this because most ube extracts contain bad dyes. I use this extract with organic purple sweet potato powder in drinks or baked goods to combine the flavor and color without any harmful ingredients. This has a good taste for the UBE flavor. Would definitely recommend!

Ok
In my opinion, has a Coconut oily flavor and smell. There is No ube taste at all. I do like the glass bottle. Disappointed that it contains artificial ingredients too. Will try other options. Overall not terrible, just not ube.

Nice authentic ube flavor!
I wasn't if this extract would be any good, since it didn't have any reviews.Upon opening the bottle, I was immediately hit with a strong, delicious ube aroma! I used it to make crystal candy, and it tastes great! Doesn't taste artificial and doesn't leave any weird aftertaste. I used 10 drops in about 3 cups of candy, at first the flavor was really strong but it has toned down a lot as the candy sits out to crystallize.I highly recommend this brand and flavor! Yum!

Nice bottle of flavoring, it tastes good, a bit floral with a hint of vanilla and nuts.
Dolce Foglia Ube Extract - 2 Oz. Multipurpose Water Flavoring Extracts and Flavorings for Baking, Sugar Free Drinks, Ice Cream, Strong Concentrated Alcohol Free and ClearFirst impressions: Nice bottle full of clear liquid. The liquid smells a bit like vanilla and sweet with a hint of nuts..Installation/setup: Use in desserts, smoothies, frostings, ice cream and the like.Final thoughts: Nice bottle of flavoring, it tastes good, a bit floral with a hint of vanilla and nuts. There isn’t any sweetener, natural or artificial and I like that. Artificial flavoring tends to give me a headache. I wasn’t familiar with the Ube flavor so I googled it. This is what I found about Ube: Ube, meaning tuber in Tagalog, is a purple yam originally from the Philippines. Different than the purple sweet potato, it has an even sweeter, more mellow taste than its orange relative. Ube has a slightly nutty, vanilla taste and is popularly used in desserts in Filipino cuisine, often boiled and then mashed with condensed milk.I used it to make this ice cream. I used only the extract so it was not purple but it was very tasty:½ cup granulated sugar5 egg yolks1 cup heavy cream1 cup whole milk1 tsp vanilla extract1 tsp ube extract¼ cup ube halayaHeat heavy cream and whole milk in a sauce pan until smoke begins coming off the liquid. Turn off the heat. Combine egg yolks and granulated sugar in a small bowl. Whisk until a smooth, yellow consistency forms (~30 seconds). Add 1/4 cup of the hot cream to the eggs and whisk until it turns a smooth and uniform yellow color. The goal of this step is to raise the temperature of the eggs, so they don’t completely cook in the hot cream. Pour the eggs into the pan with hot cream.Add the vanilla extract and ube extract. Turn the heat back on. Stir and heat the cream until it reaches 170 degrees F. A good way to test if it’s done is to coat the back of a spoon with the cream and pull your finger through the cream. A done cream should have a thick, smooth trail that doesn’t break. Take the cream off the heat. Pour the cream through a fine mesh sieve into a large bowl. This will get rid of any egg or milk solids in the cream. Add the ube halaya. Use an immersion blender to incorporate it into the cream. You can also use a regular blender for this step. Cool the cream down to room temperature and then put it in the fridge to cool completely. The cream should be in the fridge for about 6-8 hours. This helps create a creamier texture. Pour the cream into an ice cream maker and churn for 10-15 minutes. The resulting ice cream should be slightly harder than soft serve. Spoon the ice cream into a freezer safe container and freeze overnight.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Very good!
I got this because I was wanting to make Ube treats and drinks like we get at our favorite Asian restaurants and tea bars. This Ube flavoring is very good. I haven’t tried others to compare it to but my son and I like it. I also got the cotton candy flavoring for him and loves it too. This Ube has a buttery, almost caramel-like flavor. Sounds weird, but it is what makes Ube taste like Ube.

Outstanding!
I have to be honest -- I had no clue what "ube" was or what it tasted like. So, when this arrived, I found a recipe on the Internet "Ube Crinkle Cookie" provided by Mochi Mommy. I used her recipes because all other recipes called for ingredients I didn't have like "ube jam" or "ube powder." This recipe was basic: flour, butter, eggs, baking powder, and ube extract. Most ube cookies are dark purple but this extract is clear. I almost added purple gel coloring but decided against it. The flavoring in these cookies was a grand slam, knocked out of the park, home run. Some describe ube flavoring as "nutty," "coconut," or "deep vanilla." To me, it smells like and tastes like that fragrance that assaults your senses when you "walk into a confectioner's Sweet Shop just when they've finished making a batch of caramel popcorn and candied almonds."I bake as a hobby and am always in the kitchen. I am always looking for new flavors and this one, by far, is one of the most different and best I've encountered in awhile. Although the recipe did not call for it, I did add a teaspoon of butter vanilla emulsion, as I read that vanilla compliments ube flavoring. If you are on the fence as to whether you want to try this flavor, I highly recommend it.Most ube flavorings are tinted purple because ube is that color. For me, the clear extract provides a beautiful natural-looking cookie. This is a water-based extract so it's best used in drinks, baking and royal icing, buttercream or other frostings. This bottle arrives with a recipe for "ube flavored" pancakes -- which I do plan to try tomorrow. The bottle does have an eye-dropper but I found it easiest to simply pour out the flavoring into a measuring spoon. If the company wanted to eliminate cost, they could do away with the eye-dropper because it's not something needed in a kitchen.
