Live in Indiana. Perfect for Spring but also fitsunder Harley jacket when colder. Lots of room for different size weapons. Well made. Husband loved it!

OK so I am 53, a long time rider (in the summer my 3 bikes are my transportation......). I wanted to by a vest from a certain city in Wisconsin, but the price was more than $100. I settled. Then this one came. I was disappointed. The leather is thin. Definitely not cowhide. But I don;'t think it's described as such. When it arrived I first looked at the "back protection" . I got mad. It's a piece of foam. Kind of cheap. So there you go cheap leather and cheap "Back protection". Upon closer look....YKK chunky zipper. Back protection thicker than I thought, and just a pad but my spine IS padded now. I cinched the waist pad and it molded to me. The slash hand lower side pockets are in a very natural position. I could stand there all day with my hands in my pockets. It looks cool on me and I just put it on because I'm cold, and no matter what that is the first job of any leather. So on balance this is worth the money and that is the reason for this review. The reason it loses one star is because It will wear out in two years of hard riding, or less but about 2 years for me. I ride hard in all weather though. Also any kind of slide would be thirty feet and through it.

This is a good vest, and excellent for the price.That being said, the leather is stiff, it would do you good to sleep in it for a couple of weeks to let it conform to your body. Put your patches on it, first, or you'll be attaching them to a wrinkled jacket.This is "genuine leather", which is actually the lowest quality cut of leather before it becomes patchwork. But it's still the highest quality vest you will find before getting into any named animal hides.I am 245 lbs at 5'11", I ordered the 3XL on the assumption it would run small. Even with a hoodie, it's a little large, but if you plan on hiding a gun or a flask in the concealed carry pockets, you might appreciate the extra room. If I were to order it again, I'd go with the 2XL because it's still a little baggy around the waist and shoulder blades. This size is perfect for summer in the South, I'll get plenty of wind.It's black leather, the image looks a little burgundy on my phone. The red thread stitching definitely pops, good for Bandidos or any other MC that uses red in their rockers.I don't expect this to stay pristine through the summer. It's gonna scuff the first time I scrape against a door or twist my ankle on a patch of gravel. But I would recommend this to anyone for their first cut.

3rd times a charm... Great vest. Nice quality. Comfortable. Back pad is kind of a joke.BUT beware the sizing chart is WAY off!I'm 5'6" 165 lbs with a 41½" chest and a 34" waist... By their sizing chart I need a Large... so that's what I ordered 1st, but it was HUGE on me. So returned it for a Medium, which by their chart should be too small for me both in the chest and waist... but it was still way too big to wear. Finally I returned it for the small (which should be WAY too small for me by their sizing chart) and it's just about perfect. Behind the shoulders sticks out a little, but it fits great and can even (snuggly) fit a hoodie under it.Weirdly they didn't charge me to return the 1st vest but they did charge almost $6 to return the 2nd one. And the first one also had free return shipping, but I had to pay the return shipping on the 2nd one.Overall I'm very pleased with the product, but the ordering process would have been much smoother if they had their sizing chart right.

This vest is really Nice. Sizing is good. BUT Not what I was expecting or hoping for though Being CowHide leather. Its really Light weight and thin. I have another Cowhide vest and its a heavier leather. Yes the vest is nice BUT feels Very fake and cheap. Sadly would Not be able to recomend to anyone buying this. And the material in the conceal pockets is gross feels cheap as well and I dont trust to use them afraid they will fall apart with use.

I wasn't sure on ordering a vest from Amazon. Not knowing how it would fit how it would look or the quality. But I picked it up anyways. It was delivered took it out and I am 2x this is what I got fits perfectly. I am very happy with this purchase!!!!

I read all the reviews, good and bad, but I hoped for the best. It arrived today. I was originally very happy with it and thought it couldn’t be too bad. Everything felt very solid and well-made. I thought the underarms were too big, but that was a small thing. I thought it looked good. Felt good. I just came back from my first ride after only having a two hours and I go to one button for the first time and the top snap ripped off.So beware it feels good. Seems good for a cheap vest but those other reviewers who warned about the snaps coming off they weren’t making it up.
