I LOVE the smell of oregano while I'm cooking - so I tend to add it liberally to certain dishes (my favorite is shephards pie - YUM)Even with my liberal hand, this container is going to last me FOREVER - it's way bigger than I was anticipating! That's okay though, because this seasoning smells great, adds great flavor, and just makes me happy to cook with! This seasoning is a great quality, for a great price.

This is a bottle of oregano leaves for cooking.Even though the bottle is quite small, a little goes a long way.Taste is good and the fragrance from the bottle is strong and pleasant. Should work well on pizza or pasta dishes.Price is reasonable. The product looks very fresh.

The product I received has a nice long shelf life - of course, this is only if left sealed. The seal was nice and secure. When removed, ensure that you remove all of the metal to ensure that the lid will screw down properly to re-seal the container, better preserving the oregano.When you open this oregano the smell hits you - it is so fragrant and it made my mouth water. It smells like the oregano I have grown and dried as I pulled it out of the oven. Needless to say a few of my meals coming up this week will feature this delightful flavor.

These oregano leaves are very fresh, and smell delightful. I also sampled them straight out of the jar to see if they still had flavor, which many spices lose if they've sat for too long; the oregano had that grassy taste you really want. It also appears less processed than many store brands I've used in the past, which I like; this hasn't been completely ground into a mass and therefore seems more natural and healthier, even if that's just an illusion. Still, it tastes great and will add a lot to any dish.I also like that it's a larger bottle than you typically find in stores, so it should last a while.

This is a nice large bottle of oregano that will last a long time. As soon as I tore back the seal I got a nice strong aroma. This herb seems fresh and bright. The flavor in the finished dish was very pleasant and balanced well.

These Eastanbul Oregano Leaves smell delicious and add nice flavor to many dishes. There are leaves, smaller bits, and little bud like looking things in this, so sometimes I like to rub it between my fingers to help break it up a bit more. The oregano is fresh and the expiration is over a year out

Most of the common brands in the US use dried leaves. This version includes leaves, buds, and other bits of the plant.The flavor is much stronger than its typical grocery store competitors.I found that you can safely use 1/4-1/3 as much as you normally would use.Given the intensity, this is a bargain buy.I give this Turkish Oregano my highest recommendation.
