Does the Wool Runner Mizzle run true to size?

This style runs small. For the best fit, we highly recommend to size up, no matter your foot type.

Our shoes offer varying levels of arch support across styles, and our insoles are removable to accommodate custom orthotics if needed. If you have a wider foot and you're a half size, we'd suggest sizing up to the next full size in everything.

Will my shoes stretch?

While our Wool collection will naturally stretch slightly over time, the Tree collection maintains its original shape. Either way, we recommend wearing them for 1-2 weeks to break in.

Are Allbirds washable?

Yes. Remove the insoles and laces then wash on wool or gentle cycle. For the best results, use your favorite gentle detergent and a delicates bag. Avoid the dryer and bleach at all costs! We recommend hand washing shoes in our Mizzle collection.

Are Allbirds waterproof?

Not quite, but our Mizzle Collection offers a few extra-special features that make them a perfect option when the weather report is less than ideal. The Wool shoes can definitely sustain a light rain and still keep your feet dry and insulated.

Description

RAIN-READY/EVERYDAY SNEAKER: Soft, warm, superfine responsibly sourced Merino wool men's everyday sneakers are breathable, comfortable, and dry in unpredictable weather thanks to added protection from Puddle Guard, a water-repellent coating that keeps your feet and shoes predictably dry. Ideal for everyday all weather wear walking and traveling.
SIZING TIP: The Wool Runner Mizzles tend to run small. We recommend to size up, no matter your foot type, to ensure a comfortable proper fit.
BREATHABLE & COMFORTABLE: Delightfully bouncy sugarcane-based midsole provides cushioned springy support while the superfine Merino wool upper with its excellent non-itchy soft texture naturally promotes breathability and wicks moisture to keep your feet comfortable and dry.
CARE GUIDE: To preserve the Mizzle’s water-repellent treatment, we recommend spot cleaning with warm water and gentle soap whenever possible. For a deep clean, remove laces and insoles, place in a delicates bag and machine wash on cold gentle cycle; air dry for 24 hours. Our all-natural materials will not lose any performance or shape after being washed.
