Farmlines: Living In the Days of Dumb Phones and Analog Apps Paperback – May 1, 2014

I grew up in Central Iowa, not far from Zearing. Dan’s tales took me back to a much simpler time. For that, I say, Thank You!

Fun read. I enjoyed relaxing with stories from our rural background. I recommend this book for anybody wanting to relive their younger years on the farm. It is an easy read. People that grew up during the 60's and 70's will especially relate to Dan's book.

Dan Gogerty captures an era that's largely gone, but was my life as a boy.

Gogerty's sweet and funny book takes you back to a special time of wonder: kids playing in the creek, after church brunches and an agrarian way of life defined by community and hard work. There's a love of the land that has been with this family for over a hundred years. A charming, easy read -- reminded me of Little Heathens, a book I also loved. You don't have to grow up on a farm to feel nostalgic.

A great nightstand book. Each chapter strikes a cord with anyone who grew up on a farm or who was fortunate to grow up in an era of simpler pleasures--ice hockey on a frozen pond, cruising Main Street, full-service ("Check your tires?") gas stations! A fun, gentle read.

A great book that is easy to read a chapter at a time or all at once! Dan has a way of writing that puts you right in the middle of the story. I enjoyed it from start to finish!

Great Read!! I grew up in Iowa and this is the "real deal"! Anyone who wants to read about small town Iowa and what is used to be like should read this book.

Dan has not only had an adventure filled life, but an amazing story telling ability to keep you chuckling
