I recently purchased the 13-inch Black Silicone Splatter Screen from Beckon Ware, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This splatter screen has truly made my everyday cooking and baking experiences so much cleaner and more enjoyable. It fits perfectly on my frying pan and effectively prevents grease splatter, keeping my stovetop and kitchen clean. The fact that it's oven safe is a fantastic bonus. The quality and durability of the silicone material are impressive, and I love the sleek black design. Beckon Ware has delivered a top-notch product that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an ultimate splatter guard.

I didn't expect a miracle, but I will say, this has helped enough that I am definitely keeping it. I am pleased with the functionality of this splatter screen.You would think there's not much to splatter screen, but I have a standard metal splatter screen, which btw has many, many great reviews, and that one splatters ALL over the place. This one I'd say is at least 80% better. You still get splatter but it's quite a bit less. It doesn't seem like there is any perfect solution for eliminating splatter completely so I will take an 80% improvement over the 40% I was getting with the old-school metal one I was using. I would never use that one now that I have this one.I don't give 5-stars because firstly, it doesn't 100% eliminate splatter but also because it if gets hot, the silicone can get misshaped or loosen. I have been putting it in the dishwasher though and it washes well and comes out looking like new, even if it's loosened up from heat on the stovetop.

I finally got a chance to use this splatter guard and was very impressed. It has a nice weight and is not flimsy like those screen ones I've used in the past. Easy to wash as well. Looking forward to trying with other uses. Would definitely buy again.

The first thing I noticed when I took this out of the box was the weight of it. It’s certainly feels a lot more substantial than your typical splatter guard. I have been cooking for four decades, and this is the best splatter guard I have seen. For those of you who are going back-and-forth on whether to get this one or the OXO, I like this one better (I have both). As far as my typical daily cooking goes, I mostly use an 11 inch and a 14 inch sauté pan. This splatter guard works well for both. Obviously this is a 13 inch splatter guard, so how is that possible? Well, on my 11 inch pan, there is obviously a little bit of overlap, but since the silicone is flexible, the weight of the outer ring presses the silicone down over the lip of the pan and I get an almost perfect seal, but for those of you that have a gas stove like I do, just make sure you don’t turn the heat to high so the flames have around the sides of the pan… as for my 14 inch pan, I take the hollow handle of the splatter guard and slide it over the handle of the pan…. The panhandle holds the splatter guard in the perfect position to be slightly elevated over the larger pan with only about a half inch gap around the sides… which is still good at catching almost all of the splatter. I have tried this method on multiple panels and haven’t had an issue yet. Overall, a great product. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this to replace a metal lid that I used on my 12" cast iron pan. Cook steak at very high heat most days and the old lid was very messy and steamed my steaks. This new cover is very light and let's the Steam and smoke escape but keeps the grease splatter within. Easy to clean just run under the hot tap and wiped with kitchen roll. Can't comment on longevity but hopefully it will last.
