White Flowers Silk & Lingerie Wash - 64 FL. OZ, One Pack

I ordered this to wash my silk pillowcases. When I got the detergent I was a bit put off from the smell- not my taste I prefer unscented. I decided to try anyways because my pillowcases really needed washed. I soaked them in a little basin and agitated it with my hands every so often. after the 20 min. I rinsed them off and hung them to dry. I wasn't too happy with the outcome and the appearance of my now "clean" laundry. not to mention it smelled rather strong still of the detergent. The second time I washed them I decided to try a little different approach. I did as stated above, rinsed, then I repeated the soak/washing. Once the washing part was done, I refilled the container with clean water and swished the pillow cases around and changed out the water 3 times. After that I did a final rinse under the faucet and hung them to dry. I am happy to say that there was not that strong of a smell and my pillow cases looked clean.

I bought this because I wanted to clean a $$$$ Burberry scarf without ruining it. It did the job wonderfully, and the fragrance is amazing. I also used it to wash wool blend sweaters that had shrunken when washed in a machine on delicate/cold. After soaking the sweater for 30 minutes, rinse once (never wringing) then I laid it on a white towel, rolled it up to remove the moisture, and re-stretched the sweater to its original size Then I let it dry. For the Burberry scarf, I soaked it in cold, water, mixed with a cap full of the linen wash for about 20 minutes. Then I drained the sink and rinse the scarf FIVE times with cool water. This makes sure your scarf stays soft and subtle to the touch. Without ever ringing it, just swish it around in the clear, cool water then I laid it on a clean towel and carefully rolled it up and pressed (never wring)Just press the moisture out. Then I hung the scarf to dry on the drying rack. Perfect! This linen wash has also removed spots and stains perfectly.

I do wish this was more affordable as the bottle I received was much smaller than I imagined I would - my fault really. I use this on all of my down duvets, bras, lingerie, silk skirts, and stockings. It's a lovely, if perhaps old fashioned, floral scent that doesn't overpower anything. I would not call it a long lasting scent as it does wear off over the course of the week which is ideal for me. I do find that perhaps notably stockings don't seem to get as clean as I wish they would even with aggressive hand washing with this product versus one I had used in the past. However I may try using a lingerie bag and putting them in the washer to see if that helps.

I can’t express how un-hyped this is. I was not expecting to see too much of a difference. I just wanted something safe and gentle for my silk and delicates. My bras, silk skirts, shirts, and pillowcases stay looking new. The difference is most noticeable in my bras and panties. The color is improved somehow, and the fabric is soft and shinier. I won’t go back to any other wash. If it wasn’t so pricey, I’d wash everything with this detergent. I will definitely be buying this again and trying more LeBlanc products. The floral scent can be off-putting and/or overwhelming for someone who doesn’t like floral scents as mentioned in other comments. It’s borderline old lady but I don’t mind the floral scent at all. It really does smell like real flowers.
