LOVE this Stuff!
I drink a lot of iced tea, I make it by the gallon using teabags from Ireland (bought on Amazon) Barry's Tea Master Blend. The Irish teabags hold more tea in them and it is a good black tea, strong. I need a strong tea as when I pour it over ice it gets diluted. However I like a sweet iced tea as well. I switched from sugar with peach syrup to Monk fruit with erythritol and peach syrup. Most monk fruit sold is a mix with something else, I used the mix with erythritol, but then I read an research article that says, watch out, erythritol thickens your blood and it stays in your body for a very very long time. So then I went on a search for pure monk fruit and tried Durelife pure monk fruit powder. I LOVE this stuff. What I do is make a syrup out of it, I use one tablespoon of Monk Fruit to one cup of boiling water. I mix a 4 cup syrup batch at a time, I use one cup in my gallon of iced tea and store the other three cups in a glass jar in the refrigerator. I add 2/3 of a cup of peach syrup to my brewed and cooled down (luke warm) with the 1 cup of Monk Fruit syrup and have a perfect low calorie gallon of iced tea. I find you need to let the brewed tea cool down to close to room temperature before adding the peach syrup or else the peach syrup flavor gets knocked out if you add it to hot tea. I know the peach syrup is adding glucose and calories but 2/3 of a cup in a gallon works down to not all that much in a glass and I so enjoy that peach flavor in my iced tea.I can't praise this product enough, it has really really improved my life. 1 Table spoon of this monk fruit powder mixed into a cup of boiling water, use a whisk to mix it throughly and boom you are done. It dissolves really well with a slight bit of whisking. Just a few strokes with the whisk and the powder fully dissolves into the boiling water. Although the price per bag seems pricey, one bag is going to last me a long long long time at one tablespoon for one cup of boiling water, so actually it is not all that expensive in the long run. I am picky, I do not like any other artificial sweeteners and I have tried them all. I LOVE Monk Fruit, it does not leave a bad taste in your mouth like the other ones do, because it is fruit it only leaves a very slight pleasant fruity flavor in your mouth. The after taste is very very very slight and I like it, it is fruity. Just a hint of fruit is how I would describe it. If my review is helpful consider leaving a thumbs up.

Very good
I had been using a monk fruit blend (with erythritol) and wanted to switch to a healthier option. I got the 5oz bag and was a little nervous I would go through it really fast because of the small amount. However I just sweetened a gallon of tea using only a half tablespoon and honestly think I could use less. (I was using 3/4 cup of the blend). Now, if you’re a southerner who typically uses 3-4 cups of sugar, you might need a whole tablespoon. I do notice more of a difference in flavor (compared with sugar) than I did with the blend, but it isn’t unpleasant and may not be noticeable if used in baking. It was more costly than what I was getting, but I wanted 100% organic monk fruit with no fillers and you get what you pay for. I am very happy with how little I have to use so I think the cost will balance out ultimately. I definitely plan to purchase this again.

Durelife 100% Pure Monkfruit
I was hesitant on buying this monk fruit extract because of the price, but after receiving it, I quickly realized that a little goes a long way. It only takes 1/8 teaspoon of monk fruit to equal 1 full teaspoon of granulated sugar. It tastes very sweet to me, but my son finds it to be bitter. Each person's palette is different. I am allergic to "diet sugars," so I think this monk fruit will be a good alternative.

Tastes like sugar - REALLY!
FINALLY! A natural sugar substitute that doesn’t taste like a nasty chemical! I have purchased at least 10 different products, but this one tastes good even in iced tea, which I use as the “acid test”. No after taste, NO ingredients that are known safety issues - just a product that sweetens without bitterness. It dissolves easiest in warm liquids, but I use a small rechargeable “drink mixer” to blend this in my morning hot tea. I haven’t used it for baking, so maybe others can speak to that issue.

Read before you buy.
There are a lot of things that this product does right and some that it does wrong. This is not the sellers fault more if the product it's self.Pros.It's what it's advertised to be, pure monk fruit sweetener no fillers and a great alternative to sugar with none of the down side . I personally use it to make lemonade or bake with it.Very healthy productEasily desolves in liquid.ConsThe package is and accompanying scooper are borderline ridiculous. The scooper is so tiny that it gets lost in the monk fruit sweetener all the time and getting it out , even if it's at the top will leave your entire had and writ with residue all over itPowder is very fine which should be expected but this leads to situation where there is residue on the scooper and impossible to get a scop of the stuff with out some falling out of the bag.Honestly the main issue is the the scoopers handle is to short. All that being said still use this all the time and it's the best substitute for sugar I have found outside of just raw honey.

Healthier substitute for sugar and other artificial sweeteners
A little really does go a long way. As for taste, one scoop, using the small scooper that was provided, is akin to one packet of Splenda. I put it into a glass of unsweetened tea and it reminded me very much of Splenda. The problem is using too much. Using more scoops does not necessarily make a drink more sweet like sugar will, but instead gives a bitter taste. I used three scoops in same size glass of tea and it was almost undrinkable. But I use three scoops in my oatmeal and this works out very well. So the amount you use does matter, depending on what you are putting it in. I have type 2 diabetes so I have to watch my sugar. I also have liver disease so I have to be careful with Saccharin (Sweet And Low) and Sucralose (Splenda). So the bottom line is, it’s not as good to me as sugar, Splenda, or Sweet And Low, but if you need it for health reasons, it’s great! Not quite tasting as good is a small price to pay to still be able to sweeten things. I will buy again. I hope this helps.

Not typical monk fruit sweetener
I have been using monk fruit sweetener for awhile both in baking and in drinks such as coffee. Love it. Because of the negative press regarding erythritol, I started looking for alternatives which has been a challenge. I saw this product and decided to try it. The powder is intense; both on you when opening the bag, pouring the powder into your favorite sugar bowl which produces a cloud as you move or transfer it, and in your drinks. It does not dissolve without consistent stirring in either hot or cold drinks. It clumps which requires constant stirring. I'm still trying to determine the amount to use in a cup of coffee. The sweetness is overwhelming. And there is most definitely an aftertaste. Not like the monk fruit sweeteners I've used in the past. I will continue to search.

I Had a Surprising Result
I find this product exceptional. I've been guzzling iced tea this summer, and I use a great amount of sugar (with a squeeze of lemon). I like really sweet tea made from a strong black tea. I wanted to cut down on my sugar intake, read the comments here, and tried this product. By the way, I, too, have tried Monk Fruit with Erythritol and experienced unpleasant gut issues...especially as I've aged (late 70s). I followed the comment (Thank you very much for the suggestion!) of putting 1 T. in a cup of boiling water and using the Monk Fruit as a liquid. Very easily dissolved. I was also careful with the powder which everyone warned was quite fine...so I had no problems. Place in fridge for storage (just in case). I've replaced part of my sugar in the tea because I don't like the flavor of only Monk Fruit in the tea, but I'm happy to lessen the sugar load. Here's the interesting part. I sat down to a bowl of Heritage O's, blueberries & milk with a T. of the liquid Monk Fruit. The sweetening effect was to perfection, and the taste from the ingredients seemed to shine more truly than with sugar! I thought the cereal tasted much better than with sugar. So, I use the liquid Monk Fruit in a number of instances like the cereal rather than sugar. I was surprised quite honestly. Oh, of course, no side effects or gut issues.
