Oswald Wirth fue uno de los últimos ocultistas de la escuela francesa, esta obra permite entender la visión de conjunto de todos ellos y, al mismo tiempo, dado que Wirth escribe bajo los esquemas del postivismo, sirve como puente entre la escuela francesa y la escuela inglesa de la Golden Dawn. De resaltar que Wirth es el primero es promover la relación personal entre el estudioso de tarot y su baraja, más allá de aprender los significados y correspondencias tradicionales. Su sitema de tetradas ayuda a crear asociaciones nuy prácticas entre las cartas. También es interesante señalar las diferencias que hay entre las correspondencias astrologicas de Wirth y las de Waite con los Arcanos Mayores. Sin duda un referente para ampliar nuestra visión y práctica del tarot.

A entrega veio em 3 dias o que me deixou muito feliz. Recomendo.e muito. Posso dizer que é o melhor livro sobre o assunto que eu encontrei.

Bello anche se solo in inglese, questa nuova versione del libro di Wirth è interessante con l'introduzione fi K. Greer !! Avrei preferito che il mazzo di carte fosse gia tagliato poiché rischi di rovinarlo ma comunque tutto molto interessante.

So pleasantly surprised by this book. By far offers the best explanation of the journey through the Major Arcana of any other book that I've read. I especially appreciate how lucid the explanations of each card are -- something that can be hard to come by in books about Tarot (in my experience). Wirth also spends the entire first part of the book breaking down some of the mathematics behind the Major Arcana. He provides a ton of diagrams and tables to illustrate that there is not just one way in which to weigh the cards within the Major Arcana against each other for a great understanding of each, but that there are many different ways in which you can do that. This, to me, was probably the coolest part of the book, because it shows you that there are so many different ways of understanding each of the cards -- all dependent upon how and which cards you're comparing/contrasting together. I return to this book all of the time for readings to help me orient myself. Took my knowledge of the Major Arcana to a whole new level. Those interested in Joseph Campbell's work would certainly find this book of great interest also (Hero's journey), and also those interested in Non-duality. I wish Wirth's other books were available in English, otherwise I'd buy them all today. Profound, awesome.
