I was reluctant to get a spring-type clamp light because my headboard is so thick. This clamp rotates for adjustability and opens plenty wide enough for my needs. I also really like that you can set the brightness and then turn it off and back on, and it will return to the set brightness. I use this for reading in bed at night, and I don't want a lot of light for this "wind-down" time. This lamp fits the bill perfectly. Easy to set up, and easy to use, decent price, too.

Best thing ever. clamped it to my nightstand, and connected the USB to my Macbook that sits on the nightstand after I'm done using it. I can finally read without having to get up out of bed to turn off the light (yes, I am that lazy). The touch sensor makes it all that more convenient, no fiddling with a switch! I told all my friends to get one.

Bought this to use in my camper. Great little reading light! I can clamp it to the back of the dinette, the fan over the stove, the cabinet door in the bathroom, or anywhere I need extra light. The usb cord makes it convenient sto even use outdoors at night, using my laptop as a power source. Dimmer has infinite settings, so you get precisely the right amount of light. And the flexible gooseneck allows you to position it perfectly!

Great light but the clamp not fit my bed frame which is made of reclaimed wood, about 3" thick. I ended up using it in a guest bedroom which had a narrower depth bed frame and it works fine.

I only wish there was a half brightness option. But it works great as far as being secured to my very thick headboard.

the clamp can be expanded or contracted significantly - I was able to put it on a very thick headboard and it doesn't seem like it will be too tight or do damage to the headboard. good light. Easy to use. very pleased.
