Finally, a Kitchen Shoe That Doesn't Kill My Feet
As someone who spends 10+ hours a day on greasy tile floors, I’ve gone through my fair share of "non-slip" shoes that were either ugly, uncomfortable, or just plain liars. These Taquco Work Shoes are a genuine breath of fresh air. The Breakdown: Traction: This is the big one. I tested these right out of the box on a freshly mopped kitchen floor and felt like I was glued to the ground. No sliding, no "skating" near the fryers. Waterproof Performance: I’ve spilled everything from dishwater to hot gravy on these. My socks stayed bone-dry. The material is easy to wipe down at the end of a shift, which is a massive plus for hygiene. Comfort & Fit: The slip-on style is convenient for those 5 AM starts. They have a surprisingly decent cushion for a work shoe. Usually, I have to swap in my own insoles, but these have enough arch support to get me through a double shift without my lower back screaming. Style: Let’s be real—they look like regular sneakers. I don’t feel like I’m wearing giant "clown clogs" when I walk from the kitchen to the front of the house. Pro-Tip: They run a little snug because of the waterproof lining. Fell apart quickly less than two months of 10 hour use 5 days a week in auto repair shop. These were worn in a clean shop environment painted floors air conditioned spotless. Wouldn’t bother trying to wear them in a normal repair shop might last a week or two
