Used Tiger Tape® Clear Outdoor Repair Tape 48mm to stop a leaking joint on an external kitchen waste pipe.Spent 15 minutes ensuring the external surface was clean and dry before applying the tape.Repair in place about one week now, and no sign of the leak. Not sure if it will change with the weather (it is March 2026), but so far, so good.

Stuck Well to a Plastic Window
Repaired my motorhome's window. Note that it you try to reposition the tap, it turns white so you have to get it right the first time. It’s like heavy duty sellotape. No backing. Rather a short amount for the price IMHO. Not exactly crystal clear but adequate.

Visible adhesive lines when tearing tape
Tried tearing as carefully and smooth as possible and yet it leaves lines on the tape, same as you get with cheap sellotape. It's cited as being 'truly invisible' on the product description but that's not the case. You can see the lines when you tear off from the roll, so it's not down to application or user error. As a result I wouldn't want it near a phone screen or something you're regularly looking at.Shame as it seems a strong product but having tried to rectify a mistake with an errant dart on the scoreboard, the end result was worse than before. Perhaps a faulty batch?I've got some matte 'helicopter' tape in the garage from my bike and I'll give that a go instead.
