I am simply astonished with this cat wet food. Upon opening the can, my wee kitty was gazing into my face so, emptied can into her bowl. Standing there watching her eat, without taking a breath was a startling sight. She ate about half the can which is amazing, have never seen her do that before. I can not attest to digestibility, palatability, healthiness but can say she enjoyed it. The texture is chewy, good amount of juice and variety in flavor is doable. May continue purchasing this item for her.

18 year old very picky eater approves plus the ingredients are very clean. Does not smell and she cleans her plate. She has never ate all her food before.

Cats loved it-but .. My male cat developed crystals PRIOR to feeding him this wet food hence my food change. Turns out he loved this brand, couldn't get enough of it. However-as soon as I started him on this brand-he would vomit weekly and all of a sudden have hairballs. He hasn't had any vomiting or hairballs since he was a kitten. I decided to change the wet to one other brand we were using a while back-and the issue remedied itself. While the ingredients were good-I dont think it has the proteins he needed to digest properly. NOW-having said that. My female cat had ZERO issues with this wet food and she was a long haired also. Please keep in mind BOTH of my cats are long haired both have allergies and both were rescues with horrible health histories so I dont think its the brand I think its MY cat that has the problem. I believe its a good line of food.

The product description reads 'pate with shreds on top'. But this is *mostly* shreds, and is actually HARD - it's a bit of work to mush it up for my old cat. I was really hoping it was nice, soft pate like usual, not this weird, stringy stuff that he doesn't really like. He's been eating Orijin kibble for a couple years, but lately can't manage it (teeth), so I thought this would be the perfect replacement. Bummed. Might try another 'flavor' and will be sure there are no 'shreds'.

Orijen premium pate variety My cat is one that will get excited for dinner (meowing, rubbing against my leg while I open the can) and then take a few brief bites of food and then walk away and go look out the window, coming back later to finish. With this Orijen Premium Pate In the Duck flavor, my cat took one bite, and proceeded to stay there and keep eating, unusual for her. She finally broke away after eating a great amount, and had a full wash, right then and there. She absolutely loved it. The food smells great and actually resembles people food in its appearance. I feel good giving it to her knowing that the first 7 plus ingredients are raw animal ingredients. Review given per disclosure agreement Orijen provided.
