It cleans plenty well without the need for unnecessary ingredients. It is very gentle
A lifesaver for sensitive skin, it’s so gentle and it’s nice to actually be able to read the full ingredients list and know what all of it is. It keeps you clean and fresh without a bunch of unnecessary ingredients. Unless you’re doing something that gets you extremely dirty, then this simple ultra-sensitive body wash will clean you as well as any other, all the while not upsetting your skin or disrupting your skin’s natural systems. The only complaint I have is if you don’t leave it on for at least 2-3 minutes, it might not get rid of body odor as strongly as preferred, but that’s to be expected, and if left on, it will remove body odor and any extra dirt and grime unless you’re extremely dirty.

Former Aveeno lovers, you've found your new home
My skin's a little bit sensitive. I have combination skin - it's always been oily, but as I move on into the end of middle age, it's also dry, to the point that I can't use Marseilles soap any more as it dries the skin out to the point of itching. Never mind the occasional psoriasis flare, which can be provoked by stress, weird residues from products, or nothing at all. I liked Marseilles soap because it's a tried and true product with 3 ingredients, but it's over between us. For a long time, Aveeno body wash was my go to. It had a mild fragrance, it was slightly moisturizing, and got me clean without irritating my skin. But it got more and more expensive - I guess natural products like meadowsweet oil don't grow on trees - and just now it was "reformulated." The new formulation has other essential oils and gives the term "fragrance free" a bad name - it smells strong and foul, to the point that my first squirt of it was my last. I've changed back to the pink Neutrogena body wash, but it's a touch drying and has an incredibly strong aroma - for this migraine sufferer, it's like getting hit across the face with a baseball bat, either when I have a migraine or when I'd like not to develop one. Welcome, Dove Ultra Sensitive. 10 artificial ingredients, all chemicals I know from other cleanser labels. No color - it's clear like water. No aroma - if you really take a deep whiff, you can smell a tiny hint of something, maybe like sniffing high quality cardstock - a neutral and very, very faint aroma. I think a normal non-migraine person would say it has no odor at all. (For reference, I cut garlic 3 days ago, shower every day, wash my hands 5x or more a day; and I'd say my fingertips smell about 50x as strong right now as this Dove bodywash.) It got me clean, almost sticky, quickly and with no irritation. I confess I was curious so I let a little bit get into one eye - didn't sting, quickly blinked it out, no muss no fuss. And it all went down the shower drain - left no residue at all. I think, just looking around, that most folks prefer cleansers with strong colors and aromas. If that's not you, you're home. Have a seat and snuggle in.

Great on sensitive skin!
This stuff is wonderful! Its so gentle on my highly sensitive skin that has multiple allergies. I have a lovely time taking a shower with this product. It lathers extremely well. I'm very intense with my cleaning routine and have certain OCD habits, and have usually needed to use lots of soap, adding more soap after washing each section of my body. Not so with this product. 3 or 4 squirts scrunched well into the rag is enough for my whole entire body! It's very soft and thick, and easy to apply throughout the body. It has no fragrance, which is great, because I'm allergic to all fragrance types. I love the size of the bottle too. It's Goldilocks-style just right. Not too big, not too small, easy to handle. The pump is the best part, which I was originally worried about. Other pumps are too stiff or loose, and the bottles fall out of my hands. I have roommates, so we can't have a soap rack hanging from the showerhead pipe any longer, because people fought over it. So now, people keep their things on storage racks, very organized, on a cabinet outside of the shower. We just rest our things on the tub sill when we use the shower. I have to sit down to shower because of my bad back. I worried about not being able to use the pump, because I have to hold the rag, hold the bottle and press the pump. Two hands only! I can hold the bottle with one hand and squeeze the pump with my thumb, which makes it super easy. The ingredients are very light and no harmful or harsh chemicals are included. My Contact Dermatitis, Excema and Erethea (body-wide "razor burn" from simple grooming) has significantly reduced since I started using this product. Their earlier sensitive skin product that similar to this was discontinued, and I was originally very disappointed. I'm not disappointed anymore. It has been greatly improved by many times. It has been more gentle on my skin, lathers better, and is overall a much more enjoyable bathing experience. It's quite pricy for me on Social Security, but I would rather pay extra for a product that is gentle on my skin, than continue using Dollar Tree brands that rip my skin to pieces with harsh chemicals that I'm allergic too, and cause me to be in absolute pain for a week, and shine red over my entire body, brighter than Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer's nose! Now I can actually bathe every day instead of having to wait a whole week to wait for my skin inflammation to go down! Since I'm disabled and don't work, I don't have to go anywhere, so I used to only shower once a week. Now I can be clean like everybody else. I cannot recommend any other bodywash more than this.

Super cleansing
Has NO smell. It's hard to describe the scent...like a lighter version of the ground after rain. Great for people with allergies. Washes well without stripping. Would probably be okay for babies/young children to use as well. The appearance out of the bottle is...interesting. Appearance 5/10, effectiveness 10/10 (which should be all that matters).

Good Body wash
As someone with sensitive skin, it's not always easy finding a body wash that’s gentle yet effective, but this one seems good. The body wash is creamy, and lathers well with just a little product. The moisturizing properties are good. My skin feels soft and hydrated right after use, without any greasy residue. It doesn’t strip my skin, which can sometimes happen with other body washes. The fact that it’s fragrance-free is a huge plus for me. I believe the quality makes it a solid investment for anyone with sensitive skin or those who prefer more natural, gentle options in their skincare routine. The body wash lasts a long time in terms of both the bottle. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I can still see plenty left in the bottle.. Overall, the Dove Fragrance-Free Body Wash Ultra Sensitive is a product I would recommend. It’s gentle, effective, and a good choice for anyone looking for a sensitive skin-friendly body wash that delivers lasting moisture without overpowering scents.

Great for allergies
Allergies to everything are so high and this has helped tremendously. The dove unscented and free is a great product but this has taken it to a new level. Anyone with allergies or are sensitive to products or have skin conditions try this.

Dove Fragrance Free Body Wash Review
Review of: Dove Fragrance Free Body Wash This is an excellent body wash for anyone who has skin sensitivity issues, or if you just need/ want a body wash that is gentle on the skin and free of any fragrance. The body wash cleans very well and does not leave any residue behind. I consider this a great value for the money.

Great formula for sensitive skin
My 2 teenage son's and I have eczema and need to make sure body wash doesn't contain fragrance or dyes. I tend to find moisturizing body wash leaves me feeling of residue. Dove doesn't do that. I get a clean freshness without the feeling of soap not rinsed of properly. I also love the foam formula because boys tend to over use liquid body wash and I feel they waste more than use. I continue to use this brand and size.

Es para piel sensible y con este jabón Dove no me da alergia como los jabones líquidos de otras marcas.
