The handle position and blade shape are perfect for keeping your knuckles off the cutting board while chopping. Folds up and fits in the camp kit nicely. Just as functional as my quality santoku kitchen knife of the same size. I make sure the knife, especially the mechanism, is clean and dry before putting away. It keeps an edge well, I've only run it over the stone once in the last two years.

Great small knife to add to one’s kitchen if you know you won’t be hacking anything large up (like a watermelon for example.) The locking mechanism is strange, but it works and keeps the blade steady. Feels nice in the hand with room for your knuckles and you chop stuff up. Blade wasn’t the sharpest out of the box, but a quick trip across the hone and she was mint. My blade had some blemishes in it, but nothing effecting its use. Great inexpensive knife for the kitchen if you don’t want to have to keep looking for its sheath! (I live in a tiny home so this is a great space saver!)

It is an excellent knife for around the camp-ground or your RV. It folds to a compact size which means it can be stored in close situations. Yet it is large enough to be used when you have to make serious peeling or cutting foods. It is sharp and will handle most situations without trouble. Nice functionality, nice design, and good quality for home or camping. I'd question backpacking, but then again there are better knives for that. I believed once you use it and get adjusted to it, you'll make this your 'go-to' knife.

What a great portable chef knife. Ships reasonable sharp, but touchup with a stone will produce a very nice edge. I removed the pocket clip, as i don't keep it in a pocket and as a lefty it was in the way. This is a quality items that will do the job

It comes sharp, but will need to be fine tuned if planing to cut raw meat. Other than that great knife for the price. I will definitely buy it again to gift it to others.

This is the best camping knife I found so far. I got a whole collection of knifes marketed as camping cooking knifes, and this is the best of them. It is very ergonomic and comfortable to use. Handle shape is perfect for any chopping, dicing or carving. It does not get in the way and has space for fingers when chopping. There are no buttons or rivets in the way.

I wasn't expecting to be this impressed. The knife is sharp, takes an edge well and stays sharp. The offset angle of the handle is excellent as well. It also folds up small enough to fit into a pocket, for the chef on the go! Need a go-to and mobile santoku? This Is It! With every penny.
